The wideband microwave imaging system is a passive focal-plane imaging system which is used for large-scale, wideband electromagnetic interference source (EMS) imaging. The system is mainly composed of a parabolic reflecting surface and a multi-channel ultra-wideband signal acquisition system. However, due to the influence of manufacturing processes and the varied response characteristics of the sensors to different frequency radiation, the stripe noise exists in the obtained electromagnetic (EM) images, which severely affects the accuracy of localization.

Although p-i-n type inverted perovskite solar cells (PSCs) achieve excellent photoelectric efficiencies, the nonradiative recombination at the perovskite/C interface is still the key factor affecting the overall efficiency of p-i-n PSCs. Herein, a synergistic passivation strategy (meta-fluoro-phenylethylammonium iodide and piperazine iodide) is developed to modify the perovskite/C interface in p-i-n PSCs. This strategy facilitates in situ reconstruction of the perovskite film to obtain a smooth and flat perovskite surface.

The repair of critical-sized bone defects remains a substantial clinical challenge. While 3D printing of bioceramics has emerged as a promising strategy to address this issue, conventional bioceramics often exhibit limited antioxidant and osteogenic activities. To address these limitations, a novel approach is introduced to enhance 3D-printed hydroxyapatite (HA) scaffolds by incorporating cerium-containing mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (Ce-MBGNs) into the digital light processing.

Microcrystalline magnesite, a rich raw mineral material, has been used to prepare magnesium-based adsorbents for the removal of dyes and heavy metal ions. Here, MgO adsorbent with well-developed edges, high surface area (96 mg·g) and abundant mesopores is prepared by malic acid steam-assisted decomposition method using light-burned MgO with a loose and porous structure as raw materials. Compared to the industrial light-burned MgO with dense structure, the malic acid steam can easily enter the interior of loose block, which promotes the crosslinking effect of magnesium malic and enhances the crystal growth of MgO.

Bladder cancer (BLCA) is one of the most common tumors of the urinary tract. The diagnosis of BLCA is mostly by invasive tests, which are damaging and unsuitable for early screening. Current non-invasive diagnostic modalities are insufficient in sensitivity and specificity.

The rapid advancement in smart agriculture has introduced significant challenges, including data scarcity, complex and diverse disease features, and substantial background interference in agricultural scenarios. To address these challenges, a disease detection method based on few-shot learning and diffusion generative models is proposed. By integrating the high-quality feature generation capabilities of diffusion models with the feature extraction advantages of few-shot learning, an end-to-end framework for disease detection has been constructed.

Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) using metabolic RNA labeling enables detailed analysis of dynamic gene expression within single cells. However, most studies are limited to in vitro settings, restricting the exploration of in vivo transcriptomic dynamics. To address this, we developed scDyna-seq, a time-resolved scRNA-seq method for in vivo applications using 4-thiouridine (4sU) labeling.

The rotation behaviors of an asymmetric Tricomi-Gaussian beam (aTGB) propagating in free space and through a thin lens system are mainly investigated. The focusing characteristics of TGB with symmetric and asymmetric modes propagating through a thin lens system are also presented. Influences of complex constants and , the topological charge , and the lens focal length on the field distributions of TGB are studied thoroughly.

In this paper, the focusing characteristics of a circular Airyprime Gaussian beam (CAPGB) propagating in a gradient refractive index (GRIN) medium is studied for the first time, to the best of our knowledge, and some interesting features are observed. We find that the CAPGB exhibits periodic focus-defocus behavior and completes a period propagation process with two focal points within a half variation period /2 of the GRIN medium. Meanwhile, the CAPGB has singularity at the positions of =(2+1)/4 on the optical axis.

Cancer cells often upregulate ribosome biogenesis to meet increased protein synthesis demands for rapid proliferation; therefore, targeting ribosome biogenesis has emerged as a promising cancer therapeutic strategy. Herein, we introduce two Pt complexes, ataluren monosubstituted platinum(IV) (SPA, formula: c,c,t,-[Pt(NH)Cl(OH)(CHFNO)], where CHFNO = ataluren) and ataluren bisubstituted platinum(IV) complex (DPA, formula: c,c,t,-[Pt(NH)Cl(CHFNO)], where CHFNO = ataluren), which effectively suppress ribosome biogenesis by inhibiting 47s pre-RNA expression. Furthermore, SPA and DPA induce nucleolar stress by dispersing nucleolar protein NPM1, ultimately inhibiting protein generation in tumor cells.

Adaptiveness is an important feature for biological creatures to survive and interact with variable environments. Mechanically adaptive polymers (MAPs), which have been developed recently inspired by this adaptive nature, can regulate their mechanical properties in response to external stimuli or environmental changes. Specifically, MAPs based on dynamic chemical bonds have been synthesized and reported as an emerging material because of the intrinsic self-adaptability, outstanding mechanical properties and durable applications.

DNA reaction equilibrium-based calculations have great potential in thermodynamic characterization, but their widespread applications are hindered by significant measurement deviation of equilibrium concentration. Here, we report the advantages of metastable DNA hybridization in reducing quantification deviation of equilibrium concentration and propose a universal and standardized strategy for measuring aptamer binding energy, termed metastable DNA reference calorimetry (MDRC). We built different MDRC-based algorithms tailored to different aptamer binding models, enabling the calculation of thermodynamic parameters for aptamers with one or more binding sites.

The evolution of antitumor drug development has transitioned from single-agent chemotherapy to targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and more recently, multispecific drugs. These innovative drugs target multiple cellular or molecular pathways simultaneously, offering a more comprehensive anticancer approach and addressing some of the limitations inherent in traditional monotherapies. However, preclinical assessment of multispecific drugs remains challenging, as conventional tumor models often lack the necessary complexity to accurately reflect the interactions between various cell types and targets.

The etch-engineering is a feasible avenue to tailor the layer number and morphology of 2D layered materials during the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) growth. However, less reports strengthen the etch-engineering used in the fabrication of high-quality transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) materials with tunable layers and desirable morphologies to improve their prominent performance in electronic and optoelectronic devices. Here, an etching-and-growth coexistence method is reported to directly synthesize high-quality, high-symmetric MoS bilayers with versatile morphologies via CVD.

Proton conducting electrochemical cells (PCECs) are efficient and clean intermediate-temperature energy conversion devices. The proton concentration across the PCECs is often nonuniform, and characterizing the distribution of proton concentration can help to locate the position of rate-limiting reactions. However, the determination of the local proton concentration under operating conditions remains challenging.

In this paper, compact terahertz (THz) metachips for hyperspectral screening and quantitative evaluation of human cancer cells is reported. This pixelated resonant metachips feature the resonance channel from 1 and 3 THz frequency with a record-high quality factor (up to 230). Through the interactions of various cancer cells of different concentrations, high-dimensional spectral signatures are obtained, which are further transformed into a spatial map for labelling and quantification purposes.

Physical vapor deposition (PVD) at an appropriate temperature has been shown to produce ultrastable glass by the mechanism of surface accelerated diffusion. Recently, high-entropy materials have been discovered to display slower atomic diffusion due to the multicomponent high-entropy effects. How this delayed atomic motion influences the formation and stability of PVD glass remains elusive.
