Tibetan sheep play a vital role in the livelihoods of herders and are an important part of the ecosystem of the Tibetan Plateau. In order to study the characteristics of the gut microorganisms of Tibetan sheep at high altitude, this study employed macrogenomic techniques to analyse the diversity and differences in the gut flora of Tibetan sheep in different regions of high altitude and high cold. The results demonstrated that at the phylum level, the dominant phylum in the ileo-cecum segment of Tibetan sheep in Qilian, Henan and Gonghe counties was identical, namely , and .

This study analysed the effects of different concentrations of Tibetan sheep compound probiotics on the immunity, tissue morphology, and intestinal microbiota of mice using histological, molecular, and 16S rRNA techniques. The results showed that the composite probiotics sourced from Tibetan sheep improved the growth performance of mice, increased the length of small intestinal villi and mucosal thickness, and enhanced the intestinal barrier function of mice.

To further clarify the probiotic properties of Tibetan sheep-derived probiotics, we selected three Tibetan sheep-derived probiotic isolates ( EF1-mh, BS1-ql, and LS-ql) to investigate the protective mechanisms of monocultures and their complex strains against type C infection in mice. We established a model of type C infection and used histology and molecular biology to analyze the effects and mechanisms of different probiotic treatments on mice after type C infection.

Moreover, selenium supplementation can improve the immunity and fertility of the body, as well as its ability to resist oxidation, tumors, heavy metals, and pathogenic microorganisms. However, owing to the duality of selenium, excessive selenium supplementation can cause certain toxic effects on the growth and development of the body and may even result in death in severe cases.

Although perovskite QDs with a full spectrum of visible light emissions have been realized for years, realizing the efficient electroluminescence of blue perovskites at room temperature still faces severe challenges. Herein, we demonstrate both the efficient photoluminescence and electroluminescence of the blue perovskite QDs via a simple FABr-modified multi-cation hot-injection (FMMHI) method.
