In this research work, pure and doped hydroxyapatite samples were synthesized using hydrolysis and hydrothermal methods to produce powder material. The crystal structure was carried out by producing data using the X-ray diffraction system and the Rietveld method using material analysis using diffraction software. Then the sample was irradiated with different radiation absorbed doses, and their thermoluminescence response was investigated from the dosimetry point of view.

Fingernail as a biodosimetry material, analyzed by the EPR technique, has attracted great attention in several experimental studies. One of the most challenging issues that should be addressed is additional signals, masking the radiation-induced signals (RIS) in EPR dosimetry analyses. In this work, we conducted a theoretical study of the RIS radicals and mechanisms to propose robust methods to distinguish the original signal from the irradiated nails' unwanted noise.

PDT dosimetry is a crucial factor in achieving a good optimization of PDT treatment planning. PDT dosimetry is a complex task since light dose as well as photosensitizer and oxygen concentrations in tissue need to be measured (ideally continuously) to be able to fully characterize the biological response.

Our used reflectors consist of two-layer which are combinations of water, graphite, polyethylene, and lead materials.

In the present work, thermal properties of low density polyethylene (LDPE) and its nano composites are investigated. For this purpose LDPE reinforced with different weight percents of hydroxyapatite (HAP) powder which was synthesized via hydrolysis method are produced. The samples were irradiated with 10MeV electron beam at doses of 75 to 250kGy.

The suitability of nano-structured hydroxyapatite (HAP) for use as a thermoluminescence dosimeter was investigated. HAP samples were synthesized using a hydrolysis method. The formation of nanoparticles was confirmed by X-ray diffraction and average particle size was estimated to be ~30 nm.

Methods: 3-(Methoxy-phenyl-methyl)-1,6-dimethyl-1H benzo[c][1,2] thiazine 2,2-dioxide (benzo-δ-sultam) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray structure determination. The prepared cyclic sulfonamide was labeled with non-commercial (62)Zn radioisotope for fast in vivo targeting and Coincidence imaging purposes (radiochemical purity 97 % ITLC, 96 % HPLC, specific activity 20-23 GBq/mmol).
Objectives: Lipid disorders, lipoproteins, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension are the known risk factors for coronary artery diseases; however, their role is unknown in restenosis after coronary stenting. This study aimed to review the role of these factors, particularly lipoprotein (a) or Lp (a), as a predictive factor for restenosis after coronary stenting with Bare Metal Stent.
Methods: In this study, coronary artery stenting was performed on 170 patients.

In this paper, the gamma-irradiated EPR responses of hydroxyapatite (HAP) samples were investigated from a dosimetric point of view. For this purpose, nano-structure hydroxyapatite was synthesised via a hydrolysis method. A portion of the produced powder was annealed at 600 °C for 4 h.

Micro and nano-structure hydroxyapatite samples were synthesized via several different methods. The samples were characterised utilising the Fourier transmission infra-red, scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction methods, to find out the structure most similar to human tooth enamel, and the best method was found. The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) signals of the gamma-irradiated samples were measured using an EPR spectrometer system.
