Renal cell carcinoma with sarcomatoid dedifferentiation is an entity of RCC that has undergone an anaplastic transformation with both a carcinomatous and a sarcomatous component. The standard treatment in metastatic patients is immunotherapy. The aim of this article is to describe our case of metastatic recurrent RCC with sarcomatoid dedifferentiation in a 59 year old male patient treated with nephrectomy and multiple metastasectomies followed by Cabozantinib.

Is An Atrial Defibrillator Still An Option In Treating Patients With Atrial Fibrillation?

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a common disorder associated with significant morbidities and presents several challenges for the control of symptoms and prevention of long-term implications. Malignant porocarcinoma of the nail fold: a tricky diagnosis.

Malignant eccrine porocarcinoma is a rare tumor of sweat glands with a high local recurrence rate and a tendency to metastatic spread. We present a case of a 77-year-old male patient that presented with a recurrent, periungual porocarcinoma mimicking onychomycosis and ingrown toe nail that was successfully treated by surgical excision. To our knowledge no such case has been described in this location in the English literature.
