Purpose: To examine the relationship between dyadic coping and dyadic adjustment in patients with cervical cancer and their spouses in northwest China, and explore the mediating role of psychological resilience in this relationship.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from June to October 2024 in two tertiary hospitals in Xinjiang Province, China; 260 patients with cervical cancer and their spouses were enrolled. Participants independently completed demographic and clinical questionnaires as well as Chinese versions of the Resilience Scale, Dyadic Coping Inventory, and Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment Scale.
Purpose: To explore whether screen time moderates the relationship between family functioning and negative emotions in Chinese children with cancer.
Methods: Between November 2023 and May 2024, 206 children with cancer were recruited from a pediatric oncology ward at a tertiary hospital. Negative emotions, family functioning, and screen time were assessed using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21, Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scales, Second Edition, Chinese Version, and Screen Time Questionnaire, respectively.

Rationale: Traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the sinus of Valsalva (PSV) is a rare but life-threatening condition, often resulting from blunt chest trauma. Rapid progress and a high risk of rupture highlight the importance of prompt diagnosis and intervention. We present a case of a rare pseudoaneurysm linked to the right coronary sinus after blunt chest trauma.

The advent of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in colorectal cancer (CRC) treatment marks a major breakthrough. These therapies have proven safer and more effective than traditional radiotherapy and targeted treatments. Immunotherapies like pembrolizumab, nivolumab, and ipilimumab have pioneered new treatment avenues, potentially improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

The ligand features an alkyl chain and an activated disulfide to allow binding to the hydrophobic pockets of HSA and the formation of disulfide to Cys34 of HSA, thereby minimizing the initial renal clearance. The dual nature of the ligand-HSA bonding was expected to give the ligand long blood retention.

The paper addresses the economic operation optimization problem of photovoltaic charging-swapping-storage integrated stations (PCSSIS) in high-penetration distribution networks. It proposes a dual-layer optimization scheduling model for PCSSIS clusters and distribution network systems. Firstly, a master-slave game model is constructed.

However, violators could circumvent legal oversight by altering the side chain structure of recognized NPSs and the existing methods cannot overcome the inaccuracy and lag of supervision. In this study, we propose a scaffold and transformer-based NPS generation and Screening (STNGS) framework to systematically identify and evaluate potential NPSs.

Jianpi Qingchang decoction (JPQC) is a combination formula specifically designed for the treatment of UC. The primary objective of this study is to examine the clinical efficacy of JPQC in individuals diagnosed with UC who exhibit both spleen deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome, along with the presence of fatigue.

Optical flow information, which comes from changes in an image on an organism's retina as it moves relative to objects, is crucial in this process. Similarly, the star sensor is a critical component to obtain the optical flow for attitude measurement using sequences of star images.

Methods: From April to June 2024, this cross-sectional study involved 177 dyads of patients with CC and their spouses from the gynecology and oncology wards of two tertiary hospitals in Xinjiang. Data were collected through questionnaires on demographic information, clinical characteristics, the Resilience Scale, and the Dyadic Coping Inventory, all of which were self-report measures.
L. (POL) has a long history of medicinal use worldwide, and numerous clinical and experimental studies demonstrated the therapeutic effects of POL and its active ingredients in the treatment of Ulcerative colitis (UC). In this review, we summarized the underlying mechanisms and roles of POL in UC treatment based on experimental and clinical studies.

Background: Juvenile xanthogranuloma is a rare condition, and femoral involvement is even rarer. We report a case of juvenile xanthogranuloma affecting the femur. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first reported case of femoral juvenile xanthogranuloma in China.

is a genus of hazardous pathogens that has caused over 30 outbreaks. However, currently approved therapies are limited in scope, as they are only effective against the Ebola virus and lack cross-protection against other orthoebolaviruses. Here, we demonstrate that a previously isolated human-derived antibody, 2G1, can recognize the glycoprotein (GP) of every orthoebolavirus species.

While these approaches are powerful, they have been limited in their ability to obtain detailed views of the glomeruli as holistic 3D functional units. To fill this knowledge gap, we have developed a novel pipeline for imaging, reconstructing, and analyzing whole mouse glomeruli at 100 nm resolution using super-resolution fluorescence microscopy.

Methods: Study participants were categorized into HPV-positive or HPV-negative groups, after which they completed the General Characteristics Questionnaire and the SAS Anxiety Scale. The HPV-positive cohort was further divided into four subgroups: Subgroup 1 consisted of individuals with HPV types 16 or 18 but no cytological abnormalities.
Cerenkov radiation-induced photodynamic therapy (CR-induced PDT) has shown the potential to overcome the light penetration limitation in conventional PDT. In addition, the tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) produced by PDT can initiate an antitumor immune process but only show a limited immunotherapeutic effect without the use of immunotherapeutic agents. Herein, a CR-induced PDT hydrogel (R837/Zr-HG-PpIX) has been developed by in situ formation of a hyaluronic acid (HA)-based hydrogel integrated with internal light source Zr, photosensitizer protoporphyrin IX (PpIX), and immune adjuvant imiquimod (R837).

As a result, the boot process is influenced to some extent by the SPI-Flash controller. This paper presents a lightweight SPI-Flash controller that simplifies the boot process design by establishing a direct connection between the SPI-Flash and AHB-lite bus interface, enabling rapid program execution in RAM instead of directly from the SPI-Flash.

While the toxicity and bioaccumulation of mercury are well documented, there remains a critical gap in our understanding of the mechanisms governing mercury methylation and demethylation in aquatic environments. This review systematically examines the complex interplay of chemical, biological, and physical factors that influence mercury speciation and transformation in natural water systems.
