The phase segregation of wide-band gap perovskite solar cells (PSCs) typically originates from defect centers and strain induced by nonstoichiometric compounds. In this study, we have discovered an excess of PbI at the buried interface in inverted wide-band gap PSCs. To address this issue, RbI is introduced to interact with the excessive PbI, thereby in situ forming a layer of inorganic perovskite RbPbI.

However, the role and mechanism of SALL4 regulates in keloid formation remain unclear. The mRNA levels of SALL4 and ubiquitin-specific peptidase 37 (USP37) in keloid tissues and keloid fibroblasts were determined by quantitative real-time PCR.

This investigation seeks to assess the potential clinical utility of miR-141-3p found in AD-exos for expediting wound healing.
Methods: ADSCs were isolated from the wounded patients' tissue and validated via flow cytometry, and the mineralization and adipogenic capabilities of ADSCs were assessed respectively.
Ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) are widely used as sterilizing agents in the food industry. However, their residues in food packaging can migrate into food and react with it, affecting the accuracy of residue detection in food. This study aims to explore the reaction mechanisms between EO and PO and aqueous food simulants using both experimental and computational methods.

The SnO electron transport layer (ETL), utilized in n-i-p PSCs and prepared via the sol-gel method, is susceptible to aggregation on substrate, resulting in light scattering that diminishes absorption of the perovskite layer. In this study, we propose a strategy that combines atomic layer deposition (ALD) and sol-gel solution to deposit a bilayer SnO structure to address these issues.

First, the flexibility of fractional calculus is leveraged to design a joint fractional gradient descent algorithm capable of estimating system parameters and unknown orders. The estimated system parameters are used as the initial conditions to identify the unknown order, and the identified order is used as the update conditions for the system parameters.

This study aimed to predict the recurrence of AF after RFCA using interpretable machine learning models that combined the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index and the quantification of left atrial epicardial and pericoronary adipose tissue.
Methods: This retrospective study included 325 patients with AF who underwent their first successful RFCA, among whom 79 had confirmed recurrence.
The clinical treatment of osteosarcoma faces great challenges of residual tumor cells leading to tumor recurrence and irregular bone defects difficult to repair after surgery removal of the primary tumor tissue. We developed an injectable and in-situ cross-linkable hydrogel (named MOG hydrogel) using MgO nanoparticles and dopamine-conjugated gelatin as main components. MgO was rationally designed as a multifunctional active ingredient to mediate in situ gelation, tumor therapy, and bone repair sequentially.

Despite their frequent occurrence due to various causes, the effective restoration and reconstruction of alveolar bone defects remain a significant clinical challenge in dentistry. Existing treatments often rely on intrinsic blood coagulation to stabilize bone grafts, but they present limitations such as gradual clotting and reduced effectiveness in patients with coagulation dysfunction.

This algorithm incorporates an additional fractional order gradient to the integer order gradient. The two gradients are synchronously used to identify model parameters, thereby accelerating the convergence of the algorithm.

A rat model of goiter was established using propylthiouracil (PTU), and the animals were treated using "Scrophulariae Radix-Fritillaria." The efficacy of the drug pair was evaluated in terms of thyroid gland histopathology and blood biochemical indices.

However, severe mechanical deterioration under wet conditions limits their biomedical applications. Here, inspired by the structural heterogeneity of strong yet hydrated biological materials, we propose a strategy based on heterogeneous crosslink-and-hydration (HCH) of a molecule/nano dual-scale network to fabricate polysaccharide-based nanocomposites with robust wet mechanical properties.

Inspired by the natural design of spider silk, an innovative silk fibroin membrane is developed featuring directional fluid transportation via harmoniously integrating a smooth, dense layer with a rough, loose layer; conical microchannels are engineered in the smooth and compact layer. Consequently, double-layered membranes with cone-shaped microporous passageways (CSMP-DSF membrane) are designed for in situ bone repair.

Context: At present, hormone therapy and surgery are the main treatments for thyroid cancer, and they have a quick effect but a high recurrence rate. Also, the side effects are significant. it's extremely urgent to explore treatments that can take into account both therapeutic benefits and side effects.

This phenomenon will lead to the failure of the in-run frequency split calibration scheme when the initial mode mismatch is too severe to exceed the stability boundary. This paper gives a detailed analysis of this stability boundary through simulations and experiments.

However, the traditional integer-order model cannot adequately characterise the dynamic performance of LCSLM beam steering because of the viscoelasticity of liquid crystals. This paper uses the memory characteristics of fractional calculus to construct a fractional constitutive equation for liquid crystals.

However, cascading multiple LCPGs cause the beam from one LCPG to obliquely enter the subsequent LCPGs, changing their diffraction efficiency and working voltage at different steering angles. This paper uses the elastic continuum theory of liquid crystals to simulate the tilt angle of liquid crystal molecules under different voltages.

Clinically, orthodontic tooth movement (OTM) across the narrow alveolar ridge area inevitably entails some adverse reactions such as limited movement and periodontal tissue damage. Hence, it is essential to reconstruct the morphology of the alveolar crest before the tooth movement. Unlike the routine reconstruction of alveolar ridge in the field of implant, the orthodontic practices are distinctive, which require dental movement across the constructed alveolar ridge with safety and stability.

This approach provides an opportunity to the useful but not readily available tetrasubstituted olefins. The stereoselectivity of the reaction may be controlled by the neighboring group participation of the oxygen atom of the phosphate group.
