Aim: To investigate the expression and clinical pathological significance of ROR2 and WNT5a in gallbladder squamous/adenosquamous carcinoma (SC/ASC) and adenocarcinoma (AC).
Methods: EnVision immunohistochemistry was used to stain for ROR2 and WNT5a in 46 SC/ASC patients and 80 AC patients.
Results: Poorly differentiated AC among AC patients aged > 45 years were significantly more frequent compared with SC/ASC patients, while tumors with a maximal diameter > 3 cm in the SC/ASC group were significantly more frequent compared with the AC group.
Squamous cell/adenosquamous carcinoma (SC/ASC) of the gallbladder are rare tumors and there are few clinical reports in the literature. Herein we report our clinical experience with 46 patients with SC/ASC and 80 with adenocarcinoma (AC). Expression of EphB1 and Ephrin-B in each tumor was determined using immunohistochemical methods for determination of correlations with prognosis.

The fast thermolysis processes of ammonium perchlorate (AP) and its chemical reaction mechanism under certain simulated conditions of combustion were systematically studied by means of T-Jump/FTIR technique. AP was flash-pyrolyzed under different pressure nitrogen atmosphere, with the heating rate of 1000 K x s(-1) and the set temperatures of 874 and 1 274 K. Thereafter, the real time species and concentration of its gaseous products were obtained and identified by using rapid scanning Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) in-situ spectroscopy.

In addition, it was further investigated by the combination techniques of in situ thermolysis cell or fast thermolysis probe with rapid-scan Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (thermolysis/RSFT-IR and fast thermolysis/RSFT-IR) and by mass spectroscopy (MS). The results showed that there was a phase transition (beta-DADNE to gamma-DADNE) at the temperature of 119 degrees C, and that the gas products of DADNE consisted of CO2, CO, NO2, NO, N2O, HCN, and HNCO, of which CO2, NO, N2O, and HCN present themselves in both the first and second stages of DADNE decomposition process, whereas CO, NO2, and HNCO are only caused by the second stage, in air atmosphere.
