Identification of immune-related biomarkers associated with tumorigenesis and prognosis in skin cutaneous melanoma.

Skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM) is one of the most malignant and aggressive forms of cancer. Investigating the mechanisms of carcinogenesis further could lead to the discovery of prognostic biomarkers that could be used to guide cancer treatment. In this study, we conducted integrative bioinformatics analyses of TCGA database, STRING, cBioPortal, TRRUST, The Human Protein Atlas, and DGIdb to determine which hub genes contributed to tumor progression and the cancer-associated immunology of SKCM.

Calcium Signaling Regulated by Cellular Membrane Systems and Calcium Homeostasis Perturbed in Alzheimer's Disease.

Although anything that changes spatiotemporally could be a signal, cells, particularly neurons, precisely manipulate calcium ion (Ca) to transmit information. Ca homeostasis is indispensable for neuronal functions and survival. The cytosolic Ca concentration ([Ca]) is regulated by channels, pumps, and exchangers on cellular membrane systems.

[Experimental testing of micro biochemical analytical system].

A micro biochemical analytical system based on a micro fiber spectrometer is introduced. Experiment was carried out to calibrate and test the analysis system. In the experiment, the absorption spectra of Fe2+ -ferroin solution bodies with different concentrations were obtained.

[Reducing the influence non-linearity of detecting array on absorption spectrum with curve fitting].

In a micro spectral analytical system, the non-linearity response of the photoelectronic detecting array pixel will cause the deformation of the spectrum, especially in the measurement of absorption spectrum. In this paper, the factors that cause the deformation were studied and a corresponding solution was proposed to reduce such deformation. By using curve fitting, the non-linearity of the pixel can be corrected.
