α-γ-Type [MoO]-Containing Metal-Organic Complex Possessing Efficient Catalytic Activity toward the Oxidation of Thioether Derivatives.

In this work, a new α-γ-type [MoO] anion was first synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and was obtained by introducing molybdate to the synthesis of metal-organic complex (MOC) under hydrothermal conditions. An octamolybdate-based MOC, namely, {[Cu(HO)](dpyh)(α-γ-MoO) }·(β-MoO)·8.5HO (Hdpyh = ,-bis(3-pyrazolamide)-1,2-hexahydrobenzene), was obtained.

Integrated Quantum-Walk Structure and NAND Tree on a Photonic Chip.

In the age of the post-Moore era, the next-generation computing model would be a hybrid architecture consisting of different physical components, such as photonic chips. In 2008, it was proposed that the solving of the NAND-tree problem can be sped up by quantum walk. This scheme is groundbreaking due to the universality of the NAND gate.
