Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise in heterogeneous metal catalysis benefiting from their robust, crystalline, and porous structures. However, synthetic challenges persist in prolonged crystallization times, limited metal loading, and uncertain coordination environments. Here, we present the rapid crystallization and versatile metalation of new acetylhydrazone-linked COFs (AH-COFs) by condensation of ketone and hydrazide components, featuring full conversion within 30 min under open-air and mild conditions.

Background: Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a typical disease of atherosclerosis, most commonly influencing the lower extremities. In patients with PAD, revascularization remains a preferred treatment strategy. Buyang Huanwu decoction (BHD) is a popular Chinese herbal prescription which has showed effects of cardiovascular protection through conducting antioxidant, antiapoptotic, and anti-inflammatory effects.

Objective: To assess the efficacy of positive feedback closed-loop management system (PFCMS) protocol in influencing parents' decision about pregnancy continuation in pregnancies diagnosed with omphalocele.

Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study of patients who were diagnosed with fetal omphalocele prior to 20 weeks' gestation by ultrasound and were referred to Fetal Care Center at a mainland Chinese medical center during an 11-year period. Two management strategies were offered during the two stages of the study period: a single consultant with a routine protocol and a multidisciplinary support team with PFCMS, respectively.

Astragalus membranaceus (AM) is a traditional Chinese medicine, which possesses a variety of biological activities in the cardiovascular systems. We conducted a clinical and preclinical systematic review of 28 randomized clinical control studies with 2522 participants and 16 animal studies with 634 animals to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and possible mechanisms of AM for viral myocarditis (VM). The search strategies were performed in 7 databases from inception to January 2020.

In this work, we present a plasmonic photodetector (PPD) with high sensitivity to red light illumination. The ultrasensitive PPD was composed of high-crystalline CdSe nanoribbons (NRs) decorated with plasmonic hollow gold nanoparticles (HGNs) on the surface, which were capable of coupling the incident light due to localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR). Device analysis reveals that after modification of HGNs, both responsivity and detectivity were considerably improved.
