An unprecedent glucuronoxylogalactoglucomannan (GXG'G″M), ME-2 (M, 2.60 × 10 g/mol; O-acetyl % = 16.7 %), was isolated and purified from water extracts of Auricularia auricula-judae (black woody ear).
