Perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) are emerging environmental pollutants characterized by their extreme stability and resistance to degradation. Among them, tetrafluoromethane (CF) is the simplest and most abundant PFC in the atmosphere. However, the highest C─F bond energy and its highly symmetrical structure make it particularly challenging to decompose.

However, the specific role and regulatory mechanism of CD8A in chicken T lymphocytes remain unknown. In this study, we overexpressed and interfered with CD8A in chicken T lymphocytes and found that interfering with CD8A expression inhibited the proliferation and induced the apoptosis of T lymphocytes and that the overexpression of CD8A promoted T lymphocyte activation.

Methods: The expression levels of hsa_circRNA_100791 were measured using qRT-PCR in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and nasal mucosa from AR patients.
In this study, we endeavored to catalyze the biosynthesis of D-phenyllactic (D-PLA) from L-Phenylalanine (L-Phe) through a one-pot method. However, the crucial enzymes for the biosynthesis of phenylpyruvate (PPA), amino acid oxidase (L-AAD), is a membrane-bound protein. Herein, we proposed a novel co-immobilization strategy of whole cells and enzymes, integrating them into ZIF-90 to achieve efficient biosynthesis of D-PLA.

The Tengchong Snow (TS) chicken breed has relatively lower growth performance than commercial breeds but is considered one of the main genetic treasures of black meat in China. To improve the production and meat quality traits of the TS chickens by hybridization, the current study aimed to investigate the growth performance, carcass indices, meat quality physical properties, and muscle fiber traits of fiber traits of F1 crosses of TS with XBB chickens.

Methods: This prospective, single-center, single-arm clinical cohort study was conducted in Beijing Hospital from March 2023 to May 2023. Patients who underwent CT-guided synchronous percutaneous lung biopsy and MWA via the EMN system were prospectively enrolled in our study.
Background: Phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit delta (PIK3CD) is the predominant isoform of the catalytic subunit of PI3K in lymphocytes. Based on comprehensive bioinformatics, this study explores the functions of PIK3CD in diabetic kidney disease (DKD) progression in mice and B lymphocyte activity.
Methods: Non-obese diabetic (NOD) mice that spontaneously develop DKD were applied as animal models.

The hydroxyl groups on the surface of the cellulose-based gel polymer electrolyte lead to poor interfacial compatibility due to side reactions with lithium sheets. In this paper, a novel cellulose-based gel polymer electrolyte was prepared by uniformly coating the surface of a cellulose membrane with a nanohydrotalcite/PVDF-HFP composite using electrospinning technology. This cellulose-based gel polymer electrolyte exhibits good interfacial compatibility and excellent cycling stability (91.

We assessed fermentation quality, antioxidant activity, bacterial community structure, function profile, and microbial ecological network features. Our results demonstrate that co-fermentation of whole-plant cassava with 10% PS significantly improves food quality.

To fill these gaps, we recently assembled genomes of four indigenous chicken breeds with distinct traits at chromosome-level. In this study, we annotated genes in each of these assembled genomes using a combination of RNA-seq- and homology-based approaches.

The present study aims to promote network toxicology and molecular docking strategies for the efficient evaluation of the toxicity of food contaminants. With the example of liver injury induced by the food contaminant Aflatoxin B(AFB), this study effectively investigated the putative toxicity of food contaminants and the potentially molecular mechanisms. The study found that AFB regulates multiple signalling pathways by modulating core targets such as AKT1, BCL2, TNF, CASP3, SRC and EGFR.

Diels et Gilg () has been used for centuries to treat fever, but the specific chemicals responsible for its antipyretic effects are not well understood. This study aimed to isolate and identify the chemicals with antipyretic bioactivity in extracts and to provide an explanation for the use of as a Chinese herbal medicine for fever treatment.

A phase I trial (NCT0149519) was conducted to identify an optimum dose of synthetic lycopene in combination with docetaxel (and androgen blockade [androgen deprivation therapy, ADT]), and to evaluate its effect on the safety and pharmacokinetics of docetaxel in men with metastatic prostate cancer.
Methods: Subjects were treated with 21-day cycles of 75 mg/m docetaxel (and ADT), plus lycopene at 30, 90 or 150 mg/day.
Many lines of evidence indicate that red jungle fowl (RJF) is the primary ancestor of domestic chickens. Although multiple versions of RJF (galgal2-galgal5 and GRCg6a) and commercial chickens (GRCg7b/w and Huxu) genomes have been assembled since 2004, no high-quality indigenous chicken genomes have been assembled, hampering the understanding of chicken domestication and evolution. To fill the gap, we sequenced the genomes of four indigenous chickens with distinct morphological traits in southwest China, using a combination of short, long and Hi-C reads.

For the milling tool wear state is difficult to real-time visualization monitoring and individual tool wear prediction model deviation is large and is not stable and so on, a digital twin-driven ensemble learning milling tool wear online monitoring novel method is proposed in this paper. Firstly, a digital twin-based milling tool wear monitoring system is built and the system model structure is clarified.

The molecular mechanisms of docetaxel resistance remain largely unknown and could be amenable to interventions that mitigate resistance. We have recently discovered that several docetaxel-resistant mPCa cell lines exhibit lower uptake of cellular copper and uniquely express higher levels of a copper exporter protein ATP7B.

Although OS is characterized by extensive genomic heterogeneity and instability, RB1 and TP53 have been shown to be the most commonly inactivated tumor suppressors in OS. We previously generated a mouse model with a double knockout (DKO) of Rb1 and Trp53 within cells of the osteoblastic lineage, which largely recapitulates human OS with nearly complete penetrance.
