[Spatio-temporal Pattern of Ecosystem Service Value Evolution in the Yihe River Basin in the Context of Land Use Change].

In this study, the modified equivalent factor method was applied to account for the long time series ecosystem service value （ESV） of the Yihe River Basin from 1975 to 2020 in the context of land use change, and the cold hot spot analysis and topographic position analysis methods were introduced to explore the characteristics of its spatial pattern. The results showed that： ① From 1975 to 2020, the land use type of the Yihe River Basin was dominated by arable land, and the land use changes were characterized by the rapid decrease of arable land and the continuous expansion of construction land, a slight increase in the area of forest land and grassland, a contraction of the water body area, and little change in the area of unused land. ② The modified equivalent factor method was more suitable for accounting for the ESV in the basin.

Balser Plate Stabilization for Traumatic Sternoclavicular Instabilities or Medial Clavicle Fractures: A Case Series and Literature Review.

Objective: This study was performed to observe the effect of internal Balser plate fixation for treating unstable sternoclavicular joints (SCJ) and displaced medial clavicle fractures.

Methods: From April 2009 to September 2016, 17 consecutive patients who underwent open reduction and internal Balser plate fixation for SCJ dislocations or medial clavicle fractures were retrospectively reviewed. There were 11 male and six female patients, with a mean age of 45.

A new technique for supracervical hysterectomy: Anterograde vaginal subtotal hysterectomy.

To review the results of a novel method of subtotal hysterectomy, called anterograde vaginal subtotal hysterectomy (AVSH), and to compare them with those of laparoscopic subtotal hysterectomy (LSH).We recruited 100 women with non-prolapsed uteruses and benign lesions of the uterus who required surgery. Of these, 60 underwent AVSH and 40 underwent LSH.

Methods: RAS p21 GTPase activating protein 1 (RASA1) protein expression in six colon cancer cell lines was assessed by Western blot. Colon cancer RKO cells were chosen for transfection because they are KRAS wild type colon cancer cells whose RASA1 expression is significantly decreased.

Electropolymerization of dopamine for surface modification of complex-shaped cardiovascular stents.

Inspired by the adhesion strategy of marine mussels, self-polymerization of dopamine under alkaline condition has been proven to be a simple and effective method for surface modification of biomaterials. However, this method still has many drawbacks, such as the use of alkaline aqueous medium, low poly(dopamine) deposition rate, and inefficient utilization of dopamine, which greatly hinder its practical application. In the present study, we demonstrate that electropolymerization of dopamine is a facile and versatile approach to surface tailoring of metallic cardiovascular stents, such as small and complex-shaped coronary stent.

Background: KRAS mutation plays an important role in the pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer. However, the role of wild-type KRAS in the progression of pancreatic cancer remains unknown. The present study was to investigate the expression of the Ras GTPase activating protein (DAB2IP) in pancreatic cancer and its clinical significance.

Saliva supernatant miR-21: a novel potential biomarker for esophageal cancer detection.

Objective: To identify whether saliva supernatant miR-21 can serve as a novel potential biomarker in patients with esophageal cancer (EC).

Methods: 32 patients with EC and 16 healthy controls were recruited in this study. Total RNA was extracted from saliva supernatant samples for measurement of miR-21 levels using RT-qPCR and relationships between miR-21 levels and clinical characteristics of EC patients were analyzed.

[Experimental study on monitoring gene expression by noninvasive method in rabbit VX2 liver tumor model].

Objective: To investigate the feasibility of monitoring therapeutic effect of adenovirus vector containing IL12-IRES-CKb gene on a rabbit VX2 liver tumor model by using phosphorous-31 magnetic resonance spectroscopy (31P MRS).

Methods: A total of 18 healthy New Zealand White rabbits were used to generate animal models by implanting VX2 tumor chips into livers through laparotomy. Tumor-bearing animals were randomly divided into three groups and were injected with AdCMVIL12-IRES-CKb, AdCMV-Empty and saline respectively via ear veins.
