This study investigated the relationship between mean arterial pressure (MAP) and 28- and 90-day mortality in critically ill AKI patients treated with CRRT.

Methods: This secondary analysis of a bicenter, retrospective, observational study included patients with AKI who were treated with CRRT from January 2009 to September 2016.

Collective dynamical regimes predict invasion success and impacts in microbial communities.

The outcomes of ecological invasions may depend on either characteristics of the invading species or attributes of the resident community. Here we use a combination of experiments and theory to show that the interplay between dynamics, interaction strength and diversity determine the invasion outcome in microbial communities. We find that the communities with fluctuating species abundances are more invasible and diverse than stable communities, leading to a positive diversity-invasibility relationship among communities assembled in the same environment.

This study examines the dual impact of colonization on the Leshan Giant Buddha's sandstone monuments, focusing on both biodeterioration and protection. Over three years, we conducted field surveys and monitored biocrusts (bryophytes, lichens, and biofilms) on these monuments, observing significant biodeterioration primarily due to mechanical exfoliation and acid corrosion.

In this study, coal gangue powder was added to prepare Emulsified Asphalt Mastic (EAM) to improve the rheological properties and fatigue performance. A series of tests, including frequency scanning, temperature scanning, Multiple Stress Creep Recovery (MSCR), Linear Amplitude Scanning (LAS), and Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were conducted.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of isometric and isotonic upper limb post-activation performance enhancement (PAPE) strategies on the maximal strength of young men kickboxers' upper limbs, assessed through handgrip strength (HG) and the chest medicine ball throw test (CMBT). Fifty-three amateur men kickboxers, aged between 16 and 23, participated voluntarily in this regional-level study.
