Method: The adenoids tissue samples of 30 cases of recurrent secretory otitis media (SOM), 17 cases of non-recurrent secretory otitis media and 20 cases of the adenoids hypertrophy without SOM were studied by immunohistochemical method.

[Effect of sildenafil on ABR thresholds shift to noise-induced hearing loss in guinea pigs].

Objective: To investigate the protective effects of sildenafil to noise-induced hearing loss in guinea pigs.

Methods: Guinea pigs were randomly divided into control group, noise exposure group and the sildenafil treatment group, with 10 in each group. One week after the exposure of 110 dB (A) white noise, sildenafil [10 mg/(kg×d)] and normal saline [4 ml/(kg×d)] were injected into guinea pigs of noise plus sildenafil group (NSG) and noise plus normal saline group(NNG) respectively.

Method: The expression of EMS1 protein was measured in 40 samples of, 40 samples of para carcinoma tissues (which were near to cutting margin of laryngeal carcinoma tissue over 0.5 cm), and 20 samples of normal laryngeal mucosa as controls by Flow Cytometer (Epics-XL II).
