Article Synopsis
  • The study explored how Wangbi Tablets can help treat knee osteoarthritis (KOA) by analyzing clinical symptoms, related genes, and drug-target interaction networks at different stages of the disease: acute, remission, and recovery.
  • Researchers used databases to identify clinical data and potential targets of the tablets, applying methods like Jaccard and cosine similarity to compare them with KOA symptoms and pathways.
  • The findings indicated that Wangbi Tablets are particularly effective during the remission and recovery phases, targeting inflammation and pain, and demonstrating antioxidant properties, which collectively help alleviate symptoms like knee pain and joint swelling.
