Currently, there are plenty of histochemical methods to classify pig muscle fibers, which confused the naming and classification of muscle fibers. This study aims to analyze the difference and correlation of 6 different histochemical methods and select the most suitable method for muscle fiber classification at the molecular and histomological levels by in-situ RT-PCR and enzyme histochemical methods. Although seeking an effective strategy for further improving their optical properties is a great challenge, two-dimensional (2D) halide perovskites have attracted a significant amount of attention because of their performance. A major hurdle in cardiac cell therapy is the lack of a bona fide autologous stem-cell type that can be expanded long-term and has authentic cardiovascular differentiation potential. Here we report that a proliferative cell population with robust cardiovascular differentiation potential can be generated from mouse or human fibroblasts via a combination of six small molecules. These chemically induced cardiovascular progenitor cells (ciCPCs) self-renew long-term in fully chemically defined and xeno-free conditions, with faithful preservation of the CPC phenotype and of cardiovascular differentiation capacity in vitro and in vivo.

Perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) based on three-dimensional (3D) polycrystalline perovskites suffer from ion migration, which causes overshoot of luminance over time during operation and reduces its operational lifetime. Here, we demonstrate 3D/2D hybrid PeLEDs with extremely reduced luminance overshoot and 21 times longer operational lifetime than 3D PeLEDs. The luminance overshoot ratio of 3D/2D hybrid PeLED is only 7.

The Duchenne smile hypothesis is that smiles that include eye constriction (AU6) are the product of genuine positive emotion, whereas smiles that do not are either falsified or related to negative emotion. This hypothesis has become very influential and is often used in scientific and applied settings to justify the inference that a smile is either true or false. However, empirical support for this hypothesis has been equivocal and some researchers have proposed that, rather than being a reliable indicator of positive emotion, AU6 may just be an artifact produced by intense smiles.

Binary tin sulfides, such as SnS and SnS, are appealing because of their simple stoichiometry and semiconducting properties and are, therefore, being pursued as potentially cost-effective materials for optoelectronic applications. The multivalency of Sn, that is, Sn(+2) and Sn(+4) allows yet more intermediate compositions, SnS, whose structures and properties are of interest.
