Malignant transformation of cancer is often accompanied by aberrant glycopatterns. Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a crucial biological process in cancer migration and invasion, accelerating cancer deterioration. High-precision analysis of protein-glycan spatial profiling in the EMT process is essential for elucidating glycosylation functions and cancer progression.

Catalytic nanoparticle@metal-organic framework (MOF) composites have attracted significant interest in point-of-care testing (POCT) owing to their prominent catalytic activity. However, the trade-off between high loading efficiency and high catalytic activity remains challenging because high concentrations of nanoparticles tend to cause the misjoining and collapse of the MOFs. Herein, a facile strategy is reported to encapsulate high concentrations of platinum (Pt) nanoparticles into zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) using polydopamine (PDA) as a support for Pt@ZIF-8 and as a flexible scaffold for further immobilization of Pt nanoparticles.

Herein, we report a novel dual-quenching electrochemiluminescence (ECL) immunosensor for detecting protein induced by vitamin K absence or antagonist-II (PIVKA-II) based on ECL resonance energy transfer (ECL-RET). In this protocol, self-accelerated ECL hybrids of CeO and Au nanoparticles functionalized g-CN nanosheets (CeO-Au-g-CN) were prepared, which exhibited high ECL emission in the presence of SO as a coreactant for "signal on" state. Concretely, CeO with a reproducible redox couple of Ce and Ce could act as an efficient co-reaction accelerator to generate more oxidizing intermediate (SO) to significantly self-promote the ECL emission of g-CN NSs/SO ECL system.
