Objective: To discuss the prognostic factors affecting the prognosis of 1-stage surgical clipping in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) elderly patients with multiple intracranial aneurysms (MIAs).
Materials And Methods: A total of 84 elderly patients with aSAH who had MIAs and underwent 1-stage surgical clipping were retrospectively analyzed. Follow-up was conducted with patients 30 days after discharge using the Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS).
Background: In patients treated by heart transplantation, the index of microcirculatory resistance (IMR) has been found to have predictive potential for subsequent acute allograft rejection (AAR) and long-time cardiac events. When consulting related literature, the studies mostly were single-center with small sample sizes. The question of whether IMR can be utilized as a predictive biomarker is becoming increasingly contentious.

Methods: A retrospective study was performed among 115 patients divided into two groups. Clinical and echocardiographic parameters, including perioperative indexes and follow ups, degree of stenosis in the coronary arteries, and cardiac function index, were analyzed.

At present, there is no systematic study on the signature of long-chain noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) involved in metabolism that can fully predict the prognosis in patients with low-grade gliomas (LGGs). Therefore, consistent metabolic-related lncRNA signatures need to be established. The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) was used to identify the expression profile of lncRNAs containing 529 LGGs samples.

We investigated whether lncRNA MIR155HG could promote survival and migration of MSCs under oxidative stress, which mimics in vivo environments.

Rarely, anomalous pulmonary venous drainage combined with cor triatriatum and atrial septal defect. We presented the imaging findings of a male patient who had anomalous pulmonary venous drainage which has not previously been described.

Methods: Using the miRNA data of 512 samples from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), 689 miRNAs from LGG samples were split into high immunity score and low immunity score groups for analysis. The differential miRNAs related to necroptosis were analyzed by univariate Cox regression analysis.
Background: The optimal surgical strategy for treating internal carotid artery (ICA) blood blister-like aneurysms (BBAs) has remained unclear. Wrap-clipping is one of the recommended treatments for BBAs, but the long-term clinical and angiographic outcomes of this procedure have not yet been elucidated. Here, we report the technical details and long-term outcomes of wrap-clipping with Y-shaped autologous dura mater of BBAs.

Objective: To confirm this hypothesis, this study aimed to explore the pathogenic factors, prognosis, and their relationship in de novo aneurysms and to reach a consensus on their management.
Methods: First, the clinical data of 5 patients with de novo aneurysms from April 1998 to October 2021 were analyzed retrospectively. Then, the English literature on de novo aneurysms reported in Pubmed from 1985 to 2021 was systematically reviewed, and 18 case reports from 17 articles and 16 case series were identified.

Tool wear and breakage detection technologies are of vital importance for the development of automatic machining systems and improvement in machining quality and efficiency. The monitoring of integral spiral end milling cutters, however, has rarely been investigated due to their complex structures. In this paper, an image acquisition system and image processing methods are developed for the wear and breakage detection of milling cutters based on machine vision.
