[Animal experimental study of the treatment of periapical disease with recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 composite].

Objective: To investigate the effect of the treatment of periapical diseases with recombinant human netic protein (rhBMP-2) composite in dog models so as to provide basis for its clinical application.

Methods: The endotoxin-bacteria mixed fluid was injected into each root canal of the experimental teeth of dogs and the animal periapical were built. The rhBMP-2 composite was mixed by rhBMP-2, TCP, collagen and metronidazole and used in the treatment cal diseases in dog models as root apex screen.

[The preparation and in vitro release test of sustained release delivery gutta-percha point containing metronidazole].

Purpose: To develop sustained release delivery gutta-percha point containing metronidazole (SRDGM) for root canal disinfection, and determine the drug concentration in vitro and the time that the device maintains the effective drug concentration.

Methods: The gutta-percha was selected as the carrier and adsorbed metronidazole etc. The point was coated with mixation of ployethylene glycol and acetate fibre to prepare the groups of SRDGM.

[The observation of the local anaesthesia effect of primacaine in the treatment of pulpitis].

Purpose: To explore the application and the anaesthetic effect of primacaine in anaesthetizing the pulp.

Methods: 162 teeth of pulpitis underwent submucous infiltration anaesthesia via the labial or buccal side (single side anaesthesia). There were 94 teeth of acute pulpitis and 68 teeth of chronic pulpitis among them.

[A study on the rate of collagenase in the degradation of human root dentin in vitro].

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of degradation of human root dentin collagen treated with collagenase after demineralization.

Methods: The root dentin samples were demineralized by incubating with PH5.0 lactate acid at 37 degrees C.

[The observation of the effect of metronidazole-chlorhexidine solution on treatment of periapical periodontitis].

Objective: To observe the effect of metronidazole-chlorhexidine solution on treatment of periapical periodontitis.

Methods: 202 teeth suffering from chronic periapical periodontitis were selected and divided into two groups. One group including 102 teeth were treated with metronidazole-chlorhexidine solution.
