Objectives: To observe the functional differences in the key brain areas in patients with different levels of consciousness after severe brain injury, and provide reference for confirming the objective diagnosis indicators for prolonged disorders of consciousness (pDoCs).

Methods: This prospective study enrolled patients with pDoCs hospitalized in the department of rehabilitation medicine of our Hospital. Levels of consciousness and clinical outcomes were assessed according to diagnostic criteria and behavioral scales.

[Effect of minimally invasive circumferential resection on inflammatory response and alveolar crest resorption in patients with dental defect implantation].

Purpose: To explore the impact of minimally invasive circumferential resection on inflammatory response and alveolar crest resorption in patients with dental defect implantation.

Methods: A total of 198 patients who received dental implantation in Lishui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected and divided into minimally invasive group (n=100) and traditional group (n=98) according to treatment methods. Minimally invasive surgery was performed in the minimally invasive group and traditional flap surgery was performed in the traditional group.

A novel intelligent control of discrete-time nonlinear systems in the presence of output saturation.

In this paper, a model free control method for a class of discrete time nonlinear systems is introduced. A type-3 fuzzy system estimates the unknown parameters required by the control system. The control system only uses the input and output data of the plant and therefore does not need to know its mathematical equations.

Building Organic-Inorganic Robust Interphases from Deep Eutectic Solution for Highly Stable Mg Metal Anode in Conventional Electrolyte.

Magnesium metal batteries (MMBs) currently face challenges suffering from severe Mg metal passivation and extremely high overpotential in conventional electrolytes. Herein, a strategy of using a low-cost deep eutectic solution (DES) is proposed to modify Mg anode with the monolithic and compact coating of a MgCl-Al-MgCl sandwich structure, enabling the stable and reversible Mg plating-stripping behavior. An organic/nanocrystal hybrid interphase is in-situ built through a facile Mg-Al displacement reaction between aluminum-chloro clusters and Mg in AlCl/EtNHCl solution, and it can effectively minimize the adverse interfacial passivation reaction and surface diffusion barrier, affording the high ion-conduction and electronic insulation.

As a common building insulation material, foamed concrete has been widely used in engineering practice. However, the contradiction between compressive strength and thermal conductivity has become the main problem limiting the development and application of foamed concrete. Therefore, high-performance foam concrete (HPFC) with high compressive strength and low thermal conductivity was prepared by using graphene oxide (GO), fly ash, and polypropylene (PP) fiber as the main admixtures, and taking compressive strength, thermal conductivity, and microstructure as the main indices.

Objective: Post-treatment contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) is associated with poor outcomes in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). A lower free triiodothyronine (FT3) level predicts a poor prognosis of AMI patients. This study evaluated the effect of plasma FT3 level in predicting CI-AKI and short-term survival among AMI patients.

Therefore, clarifying the incidence and clinical characteristics of olfactory and taste disorders in Chinese COVID-19 patients is of great significance and urgency.

Materials And Methods: A retrospective study was conducted, which included 229 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 confirmed patients, through face-to-face interviews and telephone follow-up.

Analysis of Microplastics in Takeaway Food Containers in China Using FPA-FTIR Whole Filter Analysis.

With the rapid development and popularization of the internet and smartphone industry for ordering and delivery, the consumption of takeaway food is increasing globally, especially in China. However, there is little information about microplastics in takeaway food containers, so their potential risks to human health remain unknown. This study explored the possibility of using focal plane array (FPA)-based micro-FT-IR imaging to detect microplastics released from food containers and evaluated their contents using an automated database matching analysis method.

Development of an ultrafast fluorescent probe for specific recognition of hypochlorous acid and its application in live cells.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl), a highly potent oxidant of reactive oxygen species, plays critical roles in many physiological and pathological processes. In this work, a novel coumarin-based fluorescent probe, Cou-HOCl, was prepared for the detection of HOCl. The probe exhibited good selectivity over other analytes, excellent sensitivity with a detection limit of 16 nM, and fast response within 5 s.

A dual responsive fluorescent probe for selective detection of cysteine and bisulfite and its application in bioimaging.

A coumarin-based dual responsive fluorescent probe with a simple structure was developed for the detection of Cys and HSO . Under simulated physiological conditions, Cou-F displayed an on-off fluorescence response to Cys at 521 nm and an off-on fluorescence response to HSO at 500 nm. Furthermore, Cou-F had the advantages of high sensitivity, strong specificity and rapid response.

Purpose: To investigate the value of a radiomics model based on dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) and diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) in estimating isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) mutation and angiogenesis in gliomas.

Method: One hundred glioma patients with DCE-MRI and DWI were enrolled in this study (training and validation groups with a ratio of 7:3). The IDH1 genotypes and expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in gliomas were assessed by immunohistochemistry.

In our study, we aim to investigate the roles of lncRNA SND1-IT1 (SND1-IT1) in retinoblastoma (RB). We observed that SND1-IT1 was highly expressed in both RB specimens and cells, and associated with poorer prognosis of RB patients.
