The functional impairment resulting from CPTSD symptoms is enduring and far-reaching. Existing research has found that CPTSD symptoms are closely associated with childhood maltreatment; however, researchers debate whether CPTSD symptoms are predominantly influenced by a specific type of childhood maltreatment or the combined influence of multiple maltreatment types. (1) Examines the impact of childhood maltreatment on CPTSD symptoms, specifically exploring whether specific types of maltreatment or the cumulative exposure to multiple types of maltreatment play a predominant role.

Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to select 222 elderly people living in Hangzhou from August 2022 to January 2023. The General Information Questionnaire, the Simplified Version of the Oral Health Literacy Scale (HeLD-14), the Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), and the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) were employed to investigate and analyze the influencing factors of OHL in the elderly.
Objective: Calcaneal fracture fixation remains a challenging procedure in orthopedics, with computational tools increasingly aiding in the optimization of preoperative planning. To compare the biomechanical stability of intramedullary fixation and locking plate fixation for Sanders II and III calcaneal fractures by three-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis and to provide a theoretical basis for clinical application.
Methods: The Computed Tomography (CT) images were segmented using Mimics software (Materialise NV, Belgium) to identify the region of interest based on threshold segmentation.
The dual inhibition of histone lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1) and histone deacetylase (HDAC) has emerged as a promising strategy for cancer therapy. In this study, we report the discovery of novel 5-cyano-3-phenylindole-based LSD1/HDAC dual inhibitors, evaluated through both in vitro and in vivo assays. Among these inhibitors, compound was identified as particularly potent, exhibiting high inhibitory activity against LSD1 (IC = 39.

This study focuses on beauty and fashion influencers on Instagram and examines how changes in the category of influencer posts, value of influencer posts, and levels of parasocial interaction (PSI) correlate with parasocial relationships (PSRs). A regression analysis of data from 215 influencers and 7285 posts in the Japanese market revealed that enhancing PSIs between influencers and followers is associated with stronger PSRs with followers.

Following the publication of this paper, it was drawn to the Editor's attention by a concerned reader that one of the data panels in Fig. 3A on p. 6, showing how carnosol inhibits RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis in the early stage of differentiation, was strikingly similar to data that had already been submitted for publication in another article in the journal written by different authors at different research institutes.

However, there is a gap challenge in determining appropriate implant sizes for different dog breeds and human. In this study, we utilized skull computed tomography data to create three-dimensional models of the mandibles of dogs in different sizes.

Dental implantation is a common treatment for tooth loss in humans while rarely reported in wild animals. To explore the applicability of dental implantation in giant pandas, this study measured mandible parameters of the giant panda, from an adult skeletal specimen.

PCV has four subgenotypes, with PCV4 being an emerging virus that requires investigation due to its potential for epidemic outbreaks. Therefore, there is a need to develop a method that can detect all four PCV strains simultaneously.

Surgery is the main treatment for FNFs, and osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is one of the unacceptable complications. This study aimed to assess both the clinical and radiological outcomes in patients with FNFs treated with three parallel cannulated screws and to identify relationship between screws position and ONFH.

Background: Air embolization is usually an iatrogenic complication that can occur in both veins and arteries. Intravenous air embolization is mainly associated with large central vein catheters and mechanical ventilation. A 59-year-old woman was sent to our hospital with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage and treated conservatively with a left forearm peripheral venous catheter infusion drug.

In this study, we aimed to identify potential risk factors for early dislocation following primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) for displaced intracapsular femoral neck fractures (FNF) using radiological measurements.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed data for patients who underwent cementless primary THA for FNF using a posterolateral approach between January 2018 and December 2021.
Purpose: Robotic-assisted total knee arthroplasty (r-TKA) facilitates precise bone resection and lower limb alignment, yet accuracy and functional recovery for severe varus/valgus deformity is not well-documented. The aim of study was to investigate whether r-TKA improves implant alignment in the coronal and sagittal view and early functional recovery compared to conventional TKA(c-TKA).
Methods: This comparative study included 86 patients with symptomatic knee arthritis who underwent primary TKA at our institution between 1st May and 31th November 2021.
The phenomenon of climate change has become a global challenge that affects human activities in many ways. Exploring the sustainability and innovativeness of digital education is an important reference for the further implementation of science and education strategies and positive effects on climate change mitigation. This study designed two questionnaires for basic and tertiary education to address variability in education and collected 523 samples for basic education and 412 samples for tertiary education respectively.

By comparing the SERS signal enhancement effect of five kinds of Au@Ag NRs substrates with different silver layer thickness on 4-mercaptobenzoic acid (4-MBA) solution, it was found that the substrate prepared with 100 µL AgNO had the smallest aspect ratio (3.27) and the thickest Ag layer (4.

Methods: This retrospective study included patients who underwent cementless bipolar hemiarthroplasty for displaced intracapsular FNFs. The demographic data were reviewed, Dorr classification was used to describe morphology of the femur, radiological parameters were measured including stem-shaft angle, canal fill ratio (CFR), canal flare index (CFI), morphologic cortical index (MCI), canal calcar ratio (CCR), and vertical and horizontal femoral offset.
