Objective: To conduct a meta-analysis on the connection between vitamin D deficiency and perinatal depression.
Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted across several databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and VIP database. Two reviewers independently assessed the risk of bias in articles using the Cochrane collaboration's tool, with analysis performed via RevMan software.
Objective: To identify the research status of nurses' moral distress and predict emerging research hotspots and development trends.
Methods: Articles on nurses' moral distress were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database from the inception of the database to 2024. A bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer and CiteSpace software to analyze publication distributions by country, institution, journal, author contributions, keyword trends, and reference co-citations.
Abnormalities in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) are pivotal in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular pathologies such as atherosclerosis and hypertension. Scutellarin (Scu), a flavonoid derived from marigold flowers, exhibits a spectrum of biological activities including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, immunomodulatory and antimicrobial effects. Notably, Scu has demonstrated the capacity to mitigate vascular endothelial damage and prevent atherosclerosis via its antioxidative properties.

Microtextured surfaces have been extensively studied in microfluidics, DNA technologies, and micro-manufacturing. For these applications, the ability to precisely control the shape, size and location of the liquid via textured surfaces is of particular importance for the design of fluidic-based systems.

The main symptoms are heart failure and recurrent angina pectoris. Continuous nursing refers to the nursing mode from in-hospital nursing to out-of-hospital nursing, including guiding patients' follow-up treatment and lifestyle, which can effectively improve the quality of life in patients with Coronary Artery Disease and reduce the number of angina attacks.

However, the effects of L-Asp on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and their underlying mechanisms have not been fully elucidated. In the present study, the effects of L-Asp on cell proliferation and apoptosis were investigated using the AML cell lines U937, HL-60 and KG-1a.

Although satisfactory removal of ATL from wastewater could be achieved, the mineralization ratio is usually low, which may result in the accumulation of its transformation products in the effluent and cause additional ecological risk to the environment. The aim of this study is to explore the effectiveness of heat activated persulfate (PS) in the removal of ATL from wastewater.

The data of 43,330 CHL patients, diagnosed between 1983 and 2014, were obtainedfrom the database of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program. These patients were randomly divided into training (n = 30,339) and validation (n = 12,991) cohorts.

Without timely diagnosis and treatment, the mortality rate of splenic rupture approaches 100%. The etiology of atraumatic splenic rupture varies; it is reportedly associated with neoplasms or splenic infection, but is rarely encountered in patients with both conditions.

Objective: To investigate the related factors of renal functions in hypertensive patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).
Methods: A total of 438 hypertensive patients with complain of snoring at night were enrolled in the study from the First teaching Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University during March 2011 and March 2014. The diagnosis of OSAHS was confirmed with polysomnography examination, and the patients were divided into 4 groups according to the apnea hypoventilation index (AHI): hypertensive group (AHI<10/h, n=102), mild OSAHS group (AHI 10-<15/h, n=97), moderate OSAHS group (AHI 15-<30/h, n=149), and severe OSAHS group (AHI≥30/h, n=90).

Objective: To investigate the possible correlation between atherosclerosis and chronic periodontitis by establishing an animal model of chronic periodontitis and atherosclerosis in Wistar rat.
Methods: Sixty male Wistar rats were divided into four groups: A (control group), B (chronic periodontitis group), C (atherosclerosis group), D (chronic periodontitis accompany with atherosclerosis group). Every group was accepted the corresponding treatment.
