Cell surface receptor-targeted protein degraders hold promise for drug discovery. However, their application is restricted because of the complexity of creating bifunctional degraders and the reliance on specific lysosome-shuttling receptors or E3 ubiquitin ligases. To address these limitations, we developed an autophagy-based plasma membrane protein degradation platform, which we term AUTABs (autophagy-inducing antibodies).

This study aimed to determine the clinical implications of contrast-flow quantitative flow ratio (cQFR) in evaluating abnormal MVP and subsequent outcomes among STEMI patients after successful primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI).
Methods: The study population consisted of 2 independent cohorts.
Purpose: Camrelizumab and rivoceranib together provide a new first-line treatment approach for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Meanwhile, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is an effective method for the local control of the HCC. The study compared the clinical benefit and safety between TACE with camrelizumab-rivoceranib and camrelizumab-rivoceranib alone for Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC)-C HCC patients.

Methods: This multicenter retrospective study enrolled advanced HCC undergoing TACE+TP or TP from January 2019 to June 2023 at three hospitals in China. The primary outcomes were time to progression of the ALBI grade and change in ALBI score between the initial baseline and the final assessment point available, the secondary outcomes consisted of overall survival (OS) as well as progression-free survival (PFS).
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is always accompanied by various complications, where diabetic retinopathy was a serious microvascular complications threatening the visual function of patients. This study evaluated the significance of miR-151a-5p and its effect on DR progression aiming to explore a novel biomarker for disease screening and monitoring. Study enrolled 137 patients with DM and 103 diabetes patients with DR.

This study aimed to examine the current status of PPDs, identify the potential risk factors of PPDs, and further develop a clinical nomogram model for predicting PPDs in Chinese women.
Method: In this retrospective cohort study, 1418 postpartum women attending the routine postpartum examination at the 42nd day after delivery in Jiangsu Women and Children Health Hospital were recruited as participants from December 2020 to December 2022.
Temozolomide (TMZ) serves as the principal chemotherapeutic agent for glioma; nonetheless, its therapeutic efficacy is compromised by the rapid emergence of drug resistance, the inadequate targeting of glioma cells, and significant systemic toxicity. ARV-825 may play a role in modulating drug resistance by degrading the BRD4 protein, thereby exerting anti-glioma effects. Therefore, to surmount TMZ resistance and achieve efficient and specific drug delivery, a dual-targeted glutathione (GSH)-responsive nanoparticle system (T+A@Glu-NP) is designed and synthesized for the co-delivery of ARV-825 and TMZ.

Thus, a systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted to compare the outcomes between intraperitoneal anastomosis (IPA) and extraperitoneal anastomosis(EPA)in LLC.
Methods: PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, CNKI, and WanFangData were systematically searched for relevant literature.
Assessing and selecting climate models with lower uncertainty is necessary to predict future climate and hydrological risks at the watershed scale. In this study, we integrated stepwise cluster analysis (SCA) to propose a multi-model ensemble downscaling framework aimed at reducing the uncertainty of GCM-based precipitation projections in large-scale watersheds. The Pearl River Basin (PRB) in southern China was selected as the study area to validate the reliability of this framework.

Methods for organizing materials are particularly important at the nanoscale, where the time required for organization processes is practically manageable in experiments, and the resulting structures are of interest for applications spanning catalysis, optics, and plasmonics. While the assembly of isotropic nanoscale objects has been extensively studied and described by empirical design rules, recent synthetic advances have allowed anisotropy to be programmed into macroscopic assemblies made from nanoscale building blocks, opening new opportunities to engineer periodic materials and even quasicrystals with unnatural properties.

Methods: Data from 3809 STEMI patients who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention within 24 h, as recorded in the Chinese STEMI PPCI Registry (NCT04996901), were analyzed. The primary endpoint was SR, defined as thrombolysis in myocardial infarction grade 2-3 flow of IRA according to emergency angiography.

This work explored the impact of polystyrene nanoparticle (PS-NPs) exposure during prepuberty on male reproductive function post maturation in rats. Rats were gavaged with PS-NPs (80 nm) at 0, 3, 6, 12 mg/kg/day from postnatal day 21 to 95.

However, PICC-related thrombosis is a serious complication that can lead to morbidity and mortality in this patient population. Several risk factors have been identified for the development of PICC-related thrombosis, including cancer type, stage, comorbidities, and catheter characteristics.

The integration of diverse biological information sources holds the potential to enhance prognostic accuracy.
Objective: To establish a comprehensive multi-tiered precision prognostic evaluation system for CRC by amalgamating gene expression profiles, clinical characteristics, and tumor microsatellite instability (MSI) status in CRC patients.
Colloidal crystal engineering with DNA allows one to design diverse superlattices with tunable lattice symmetry, composition, and spacing. Most of these structures follow the complementary contact model, maximizing DNA hybridization on building blocks and producing relatively close-packed lattices. Here, low-symmetry kagome superlattices are assembled from DNA-modified gold bipyramids that can engage only in partial DNA surface matching.

As the thickness of an ultra-thin flattened heat pipe (UTHP) decreases, the fabrication difficulty increases exponentially, and the thermal performance deteriorates rapidly. In this study, three types of composite wicks were developed for UTHPs with a 0.6 mm thickness: copper foam and mesh wick (CFMW), two layers of different mesh wick (TDMW), and three layers of the same mesh wick (TSMW).

A total of 53 mothers with a 1-year-old child and 41 mothers with a 2-year-old child were included in this study using a mother-infant cohort from central China. Maternal fecal samples collected during the third trimester were analyzed using 16S rRNA V3-V4 gene sequences.
