Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have achieved remarkable success in various graph mining tasks by aggregating information from neighborhoods for representation learning. The success relies on the homophily assumption that nearby nodes exhibit similar behaviors, while it may be violated in many real-world graphs. Recently, heterophilous graph neural networks (HeterGNNs) have attracted increasing attention by modifying the neural message passing schema for heterophilous neighborhoods.

Limited access to patient hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) is a major roadblock to developing novel therapies for DBAS. We developed a self-inactivating third-generation RPS19-encoding lentiviral vector (LV) called SJEFS-S19 for DBAS gene therapy.

This study aimed to evaluate the anti-depression effects of SCFs in chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS)-induced mice and to interrogate the underlying mechanisms.
Materials And Methods: The CUMS mice were used for assessing the effects of SCFs treatments on depression.
Objective: This review aims to determine whether aerobic exercise is beneficial in treating depression in adults in general.
Methods: Review of systematic reviews and meta-analyses related to RCTs. PubMed, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, Embase, and Cochrane databases of systematic reviews were searched extensively between September 2009 and September 2023.
We theoretically study the Goos-Hänchen (GH) and Imbert-Fedorov (IF) shifts of a reflected Gaussian beam from a hyperbolic metasurface composed of graphene grating based on topological insulators (TIs). Perturbations are generated on the surface of TIs by applying a thin magnetic film, resulting in a broken time-reversal symmetry. The GH and IF shifts are greatly enhanced as a result of the combined interaction of the graphene grating and the topological magnetoelectric effect (TME).

As of right now, there aren't many reliable commercial vaccines available to combat this infection. In a previous study, we isolated a Mandarin fish (Siniperca chuatsi)-derived NNV strain, tentatively named MFNNV.

The current study aimed at developing a novel STAT3 coiled-coil domain (CCD) inhibitor for suppression of inflammatory response in LPS-induced ALI.
Method: Molecular docking and binding affinity were proceeded and determined that K134 bond to STAT3 CCD.

Coded computing is recognized as a promising solution to address the privacy leakage problem and the straggling effect in distributed computing. This technique leverages coding theory to recover computation tasks using results from a subset of workers. In this paper, we propose the adaptive privacy-preserving coded computing (APCC) strategy, designed to be applicable to various types of computation tasks, including polynomial and non-polynomial functions, and to adaptively provide accurate or approximated results.

Sulfur ion (S) plays a significant and considerable role in many living organisms and ecosystems, while its abnormal content can pose a serious hazard to human health and ecological environment. Hence, it is extremely meaningful to construct a highly sensitive and selective analytical platform for S detection in complex microenvironment, particularly in biological systems. In this study, phosphomolybdic acid and L-Arg were utilized to prepare a new molybdenum doped carbon-dots nanozyme (Mo-CDs) with great peroxidase-like activity by one-step hydrothermal approach.

However, the currently available medications are unable to effectively reduce the incidence of cardiovascular events in the majority of patients with AS. Therefore, naringin has been attracting considerable attention owing to its anti-AS effects.

Background: Double-hit lymphoma (DHL) with c-MYC gene translocation is highly aggressive and has a poor prognosis. In DHL cells, activation-induced cytidine deaminase (AID) promotes antibody class switch recombination (CSR), ultimately leading to c-MYC gene translocation caused by Myc/IgH DNA double-strand breaks. However, currently there is still no method to suppress the expression of AID.

Two clinical candidates BTZ043 and PBTZ169, as well as many other BTZs showed potent anti-TB activity, but they are all highly lipophilic and their poor aqueous solubility is still a serious issue need to be addressed. Here, we designed and synthesized a series of new BTZ derivatives, wherein a hydrophilic COOH or NH group is directly attached to the oxime moiety of TZY-5-84 discovered in our lab, through various linkers.

Design: This retrospective study included 70 eyes of 70 patients aged 8 years to 13 years who underwent orthokeratology lens (OK lens) treatment, and all patients underwent regular follow-ups at 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, and 12 months at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center between January 2019 and May 2021.
Methods: Axial length (AL) was measured at baseline and 12 months by an IOLmaster 5.
Background: The chronic digestive condition gallstones is quite common around the world, the development of which is closely related to oxidative stress, inflammatory response and abnormalities of lipid metabolism. In the last few years, as a novel biomarker of lipid metabolism, the non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (NHHR) has garnered significant interest. However, its relationship with gallstones has not been studied yet.

Recent evidence indicates that aberrant expression of TRIM24, functions as an oncogene, is associated with poor prognosis across various cancer types. TRIM24 exhibits a multifaceted structure comprising an N-terminal TRIM region with a RING domain, B-box type 1 and type 2 domains, and a coiled-coil region, as well as a C-terminal plant-homeodomain (PHD)-bromodomain.
