This study explores the correlation between knee osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal ultrasound manifestations based on changes in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome types. The study enrolled 104 patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to the Gansu Provincial Hospital of TCM between January 2019 and January 2021. According to the principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment in TCM, the patients were divided into wind-cold-damp obstruction (n = 17), damp-heat accumulation (n = 22), qi-stagnation and blood stasis (n = 31), and liver and kidney deficiency (n = 34) types.

Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) combined with sodium hyaluronate (HA) for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA).

Methods: PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang database, China Science and Technology Journal Database, and SinoMed were searched from inception to July 2020. The quality of the randomized controlled trials was evaluated independently by two reviewers according to the criteria in the Cochrane Collaboration for Systematic Reviews.

Purpose: Guanylate binding protein 4 (GBP4) is induced by interferons and various cytokines and has been recognized as functionally relevant in numerous types of human cancers. While the role of GBP4 in cancer has been preliminarily summarized, its correlation with antitumor immunity remains unclear and requires further research.

Methods: First, a comprehensive pan-cancer analysis was conducted, focusing on GBP4's expression patterns and immunological functions.

Objective: To investigate the difference in the expression of Ras-associated protein 1 (Rap1) in necrotic and healthy areas of non-traumatic osteonecrosis of femoral head (NONFH) patients.

Methods: Femoral head tissue samples from 30 cases of NONFH and 30 cases of traumatic osteonecrosis of the femoral head (TONFH) were collected after hip replacement surgery, respectively. No significant difference of Association Research Circulation Osseous (ARCO) staging was found between the NONFH and the TONFH groups ( =-0.

The mechanism of metabolism of bone and cartilage are one of focus of orthopedic knowledge, and its clinical and basic study plays an important role in preventing and treating osteoporosis, degeneration of bone and joint, bone tumor. At present, the mechanism of metabolism of bone and cartilage studied from protein, signal pathway to mRNA transcription factor regulation. As a new regulatory factor for non-coding proteins, long non-coding RNA(LncRNA) participates in physiological and pathological process.

There are many methods of conservative treatment for early non-traumatic osteonecrosis of femoral head, but still lack of a mature and effective treatment. Gene therapy is a new treatment method for non-traumatic osteonecrosis of femoral head in recent years. This article showed that the non-traumatic osteonecrosis of femoral head related to progress and problems on pathogenesy, molecular biology foundation, exogenous theoretical gene, carrier selection and so on, discussed some problems and countermeasure and future applications.
