Purpose: To investigate the effects of dynamic-static combined relaxation therapy on fatigue and sleep disorders in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Methods: A total of 114 patients receiving chemotherapy at Tangshan People's Hospital (September 2023-June 2024) were randomly divided into three groups: control (routine nursing), experiment group 1 (static Benson relaxation), and experiment group 2 (dynamic yoga + static Benson relaxation). The intervention lasted 8 weeks.
Purpose: Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a common side effect in patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy. This study aimed to assess the effects of three different intermittent hypothermia temperatures applied to the hands and feet on CIPN symptoms in patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy.
Methods: In total, 108 patients were randomly divided into three experimental groups (n = 36).
The current narrative review was planned to elucidate the interplay between acupuncture, a cornerstone of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the modulation of cellular mechanisms via Forkhead box O transcription factors, focussing on autophagy and cellular senescence. Autophagy, essential for cellular health, and cellular senescence, associated with aging and age-related diseases, are both significantly influenced by Forkhead box O transcription factors among other regulatory factors and pathways. These factors, known to diminish with age, play a pivotal role in promoting longevity.

Neutralizing antibodies (nAbs) play a crucial role in virology, antibody drug development, and vaccine research. In this study, we investigated the synergistic effect of two hepatitis E virus (HEV) nAbs, 8H3, and 8C11, which have exhibited enhanced neutralizing activity in a rhesus monkey model. We presented crystal structures of 8H3 Fab alone and a triple complex of 8C11 Fab and 8H3 Fab simultaneously binding to the HEV E2s protein (8C11:E2s:8H3).

In the present study, we report the specific neutralizing antibodies 13H7 and 9G11, which target the N-terminal domain (NTD) and receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2, respectively. The comparative analysis observed that 13H7 not only neutralizes early variants of concern (VOCs) but also exhibits neutralizing activity against the Omicron sublineage, including BA.

Caizi Lake involves a natural reserve and two national wetland parks, accommodating winter migratory waterfowl over the middle and lower Yangtze River basin in China. However, the water transfer from the Yangtze River to the Huai River (YR-HR water transfer) has modified the winter hydrological conditions of Caizi Lake, negatively affecting wintertime waterfowl habitats.

Methods: Eighty female patients with breast cancer treated at Tangshan People's Hospital between October 2022 and July 2023 were selected as research participants and divided into control and intervention, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received routine treatment and care, whereas the intervention group received gradient pressure therapy based on routine treatment and care.
Habitat suitability analysis is essential in habitat and species conservation. Anatidae are known for their migratory behaviour, high population density, and wide distribution range. Understanding their habitat utilzation and influencing factors is crucial in targeted conservation and management.

The scarcity of human and natural resources makes effective habitat protection an important concern. Here, we aimed to investigate waterbird habitat protection methods for Anhui Province, China, a critical stopover and wintering area on the East Asian-Australasian Flyway that features rich wetland resources subject to significant habitat loss and degradation.

Previous studies suggested that protein arginine methyltransferase 4 (PRMT4) was incorporated in various bioprocesses, but its role in renal injuries has not been investigated. Our present study showed that PRMT4 was highly expressed in renal proximal tubular cells, and it was downregulated in cisplatin-induced AKI.

This study aimed to analyze the risk factors of peripheral neuropathy in patients with breast cancer receiving paclitaxel chemotherapy to provide a reference for the early prevention of CIPN.
Methods: We included 350 patients with breast cancer who received chemotherapy for the first time at the Tangshan People's Hospital between August 2022 and June 2023 and were followed for at least 3 months after the end of chemotherapy.
The cGAS-STING pathway and the Mevalonate Pathway are druggable targets for vaccine adjuvant discovery. Manganese (Mn) and bisphosphonates are known to exert adjuvant effects by targeting these two pathways, respectively. This study found the synergistic potential of the two pathways in enhancing immune response.

Utilizing immunodominant antibodies could help fine-tune vaccine immunogenicity and augment the precision of immunization strategies. However, the methodologies to capitalize on the attributes of bnAbs in vaccine design have not been clearly elucidated.

The intestinal microbial composition is influenced by several external influences. In addition to food, the abiotic elements of the environment, such as temperature, humidity, and seasonal fluctuation are also important determinants.

However, the underlying molecular mechanisms remain obscure. The present study aimed at elucidating the interactive function of circUHRF1-G9a-ubiquitin-like, containing PHD and ring finger domains 1 (UHRF1) mRNA-eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4A3 (EIF4A3)-PDZ and LIM domain 1 (PDLIM1) network in HCC.

In this study, high-throughput sequencing was employed to examine the changes in gut fungal communities and the presence of potential pathogens between different seasons in captive Baikal teal and common teal. Between the summer and autumn seasons, both duck species showed significant differences in fungal diversity and community composition.

Carboxy-terminus of Hsc70-interacting protein (CHIP), a U-box E3 ligase, modulates oxidative stress by degrading its targeted proteins. The role of CHIP in S-AKI and its relevance with pyroptosis have not been investigated.

WW domain binding protein-2 (WBP2), a molecular chaperon, is involved in the progression of various malignancies, but its role in renal injuries has not been investigated. Our present study employed bioinformatics analysis to identify WBP2 as a potential modulator of AKI and ferroptosis.

The rapid nature of these changes has incited a need for the development of superior broad nAbs (bnAbs) and/or the rational design of an antibody cocktail that can protect against the mutated virus strain. Here, we report two angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 competing nAbs-8H12 and 3E2-with synergistic neutralization but evaded by some Omicron subvariants.

However, how functional feeding traits, including bill size and leg length, determine the niche of mixed flocks of shorebird species has seldomly been studied, as well as, microhabitat variables affect the spatial patterns of availability and the quality of patches for wintering. From October 2016 to March 2017 at Shengjin Lake, Anhui Province, China, we recorded 226 scan samples from the different microhabitats and 93 focal animal videos of four common shorebird species: common greenshank, spotted redshank, Kentish plover, and little ringed plover.
