Existing hyperspectral image (HSI) super-resolution methods fusing a high-resolution RGB image (HR-RGB) and a low-resolution HSI (LR-HSI) always rely on spatial degradation and handcrafted priors, which hinders their practicality. To address these problems, we propose a novel, to the best of our knowledge, method with two transfer models: a window-based linear mixing (W-LM) model and a feature transfer model. Specifically, W-LM initializes a high-resolution HSI (HR-HSI) by transferring the spectra from the LR-HSI to the HR-RGB.

Graphene materials offer attractive possibilities in spintronics due to their unique atomic and electronic structures, which is in contrast to their limited applications in the design of sophisticated spintronic devices. This should be attributed to the lack of knowledge about the intrinsic characteristics of graphene materials, especially the diverse correlations between sites within the materials and their roles in spin-signal generation and propagation. This work comprehensively studies the spin couplings between transition metal atoms doped on graphene and reveals their potential application in spintronic device design through the realization of various logic gates.

2-Deoxyglucose (2-DG) can be used in antitumour research by inhibiting glycolysis and promoting the endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) pathway, but its clinical application is restricted due to dose-limiting side effects and survival chance for cancer cells by protective autophagy. Therefore, our research explored whether the combination of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), an FDA-approved autophagy inhibiting drug, and 2-DG is a promising therapeutic strategy. Here, we report that HCQ combined with 2-DG can further inhibit the viability and migration and induce apoptosis of breast tumour cells compared with other individual drugs.

A novel denoising method combining complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise (CEEMDAN) and noise quantization strategies is proposed to solve the problem of the noise of the hob vibration signals disturbing the condition monitoring and feature extraction. The vibration signal is decomposed into several intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) and a residual based on CEEMDAN first. Considering that statistical indicators such as correlation coefficient and kurtosis are not effective in the presence of non-Gaussian noises and modulation because they primarily focus on the signal statistical distribution while ignoring the characteristics of the mechanism, a novel index based on the autocorrelation function analysis called periodic modulation for noise assessment (PMNA) is proposed to quantify the noise of IMFs.
