A 38-year-old woman received a 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT scan for the evaluation of systemic lupus erythematosus. Diffuse uptake in both kidney parenchyma indicated the presence of lupus nephritis. In addition, an incidental carotid body tumor with increased FAPI uptake was also observed.

Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is regarded as a promising target for the diagnosis and treatment of tumors as it was overexpressed in cancer-associated fibroblasts. FAP inhibitors bearing a quinoline scaffold have been proven to show high affinity against FAP and , and the scaffold has been radio-labeled for the imaging and treatment of FAP-positive tumors. However, currently available FAP imaging agents both contain chelator groups to enable radio-metal labeling, making those tracers more hydrophilic and not suitable for the imaging of lesions in the brain.

A 46-year-old woman with a history of papillary thyroid cancer status post total thyroidectomy underwent the second I radioiodine ablation therapy for lung metastases. Posttherapeutic whole-body I planar images showed diffuse uptake in the lungs and intense focal activity in both sides of the upper abdomen. SPECT/CT of the abdomen localized the uptake in the upper pole of the left kidney and the lower pole of the right kidney.

The goal of this study was to describe Parkinson׳s disease (PD)-related modulation of functional connectivity (FC) associated with the striatum in the resting state in a nonhuman primate model of early-stage PD. Weekly intravenous injections of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP) (0.5 mg/kg body weight) were performed until parkinsonian motor symptoms developed in four macaques.

Objective: To evaluate the influence of heartbeat acceptance window settings on left ventricular function and perfusion parameters of the arrhythmia patients during gated myocardial perfusion imaging.

Methods: Twenty eight fibrillation patients were consecutively recruited to undergo myocardial perfusion SPECT. The Concurrent Imaging software was used to create 3 separate SPECT studies with heartbeat acceptance window of 20%, 60% and 100% respectively.

Objective: To investigate the impact of patient motion on myocardial perfusion imaging with double-head Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) and assess the effect of motion correction.

Methods: Twenty (20) patients were included in the study. Acquisitions were performed for all patients under the situations with or without body motion respectively.
