Prenylated indole alkaloids, which are mainly produced by genera Aspergillus and Penicillium, are a class of structurally intriguing specialized metabolites with remarkable biomedical interests. In this study, chemically guided isolation of the Nicotiana tabacum-derived endophytic fungus Aspergillus japonicus TE-739D yielded eight structurally diverse prenylated indole alkaloids, including an undescribed compound, namely aspertaichamide B (ATB, 1), together with seven previously discovered derivatives (compounds 2 - 8). Their chemical structures as well as the stereochemical features were determined by integrated spectroscopic analyses, including HRESIMS, NMR, NMR calculations with DP4 + probability analysis, and a comparison of the experimental ECD data with computed DFT-based quantum chemical calculations.

Objective: To compare the efficacy of plerixafor (PXF) combined with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) (PXF+G-CSF) and cyclophosphamide (Cy) combined with G-CSF (Cy+G-CSF) in the mobilization of peripheral blood stem cells (PBSCs) in patients with multiple myeloma (MM).

Methods: The clinical data of 41 MM patients who underwent PBSC mobilization using PXF+G-CSF (18 cases) or Cy+G-CSF (23 cases) in Shanxi Bethune Hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed, including the count of collected CD34 cells, acquisition success rate, failure rate, and optimal rate. The correlation of sex, age, disease type, DS staging, ISS staging, number of chemotherapy cycle, disease status before mobilization, and mobilization regimen with the collection results was analyzed, and the adverse reactions, length of hospital stay, and hospitalization costs were compared between the two mobilization regimens.

In order to study the influence of structural parameters of porous gas bearing and operating parameters of linear compressor on the static and dynamic performance of porous gas bearing, based on gas lubrication theory, Darcy's law and Reynolds equation, the mathematical model and simulation model of porous gas bearing of linear compressor are derived and established. The static and dynamic characteristics of the porous gas bearing of the linear compressor are studied by using Fluent software simulation. According to the simulation results, the effects of inlet pressure, porous material thickness and gas gap on the gas consumption and bearing capacity of the porous gas bearing under different eccentricities are analyzed.

Two novel chlorinated and nitrogenated azaphilones, namely -butyl-2-aza-2-deoxychaetoviridin A () and -hexyl-2-aza-2-deoxychaetoviridin A (), along with a previously identified analogue, chaetoviridin A (), were successfully obtained from 2020HZ23, a marine algal-sourced endophytic fungus. The planar structures as well as the absolute configurations of these new metabolites were determined utilizing a synergistic approach that involved both spectroscopic techniques (1D/2D NMR and HRESIMS) and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations. Each compound was subject to cytotoxicity evaluation toward the A549 cancer cell line.
