Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to analyze the clinical characteristics of minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion in patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis, focusing on those with severe intervertebral space narrowing versus simple grade II spondylolisthesis.
  • The research involved 38 patients split into two groups: one with severe narrowing and another with simple spondylolisthesis, comparing factors such as operation time, blood loss, and recovery outcomes through specific scoring systems.
  • Results indicated that patients with severe narrowing had longer surgery times, more blood loss, and required specialized tools, but overall recovery scores (JOA and VAS) were similar between both groups.
