Background And Objective: Ureteral fibroepithelial polyps (UFPs) are rare benign tumors and ureteroscopy has been used for treatment. We compared the effect of UFP by ureteroscopy combined with holmium laser or thulium laser.

Methods: Twenty-five patients with UFPs were treated in our hospital between May 2003 and April 2013.

Acute Abdominal Compartment Syndrome as a Complication of Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy: Two Cases Reports and Literature Review.

Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a technique commonly used to remove large or multiple kidney stones and stones in the inferior calyx, with the advantages of lower morbidity rates, decrease in post-operative pain with faster recovery. Intra-abdominal irrigation fluid extravasation which leads to abdominal hypertension is a rare complication of PCNL with little reports. Early detection of intra-abdominal extravagation is very important to prevent morbidity and mortality.

Hepatolithiasis associated with intrahepatic heterotopic pancreas: a case report and literature review.

Unlabelled: Intrahepatic heterotopic pancreas is rarely reported in the literature. Here, we report a case of a 39-year-old male with intrahepatic heterotopic pancreas associated with primary cholesterol hepatolithiasis. Computed tomography (CT) scans revealed multiple cholesterol stones in intrahepatic bile ducts of the left lobe concomitant with intrahepatic cholangiectases.

Materials And Methods: The lentiviral vector was used in the establishment of ET-1 knockdown PC-3 cells.

[Updated relationship between testosterone and prostate cancer].

Androgen deprivation therapy can effectively suppress the progression of prostate cancer, but accumulating evidence for the relationship of testosterone with prostate cancer challenges the conventional wisdom. High levels of testosterone are not risk factors for prostate cancer, nor promote its development. On the contrary, a low testosterone level indicates a worse pathological stage.

Contralateral ureteral metastasis 4 years after radical nephrectomy.

Introduction: Metastasis of renal cell carcinoma to the contralateral ureter is extremely rare. To date, only 50 cases of metastatic RCC to the ureter have been reported, among whom 6 cases occur at the contralateral site. We herein report a rare case of metastatic RCC in the contralateral ureter 4 years after radical nephrectomy.
