Introduction: In recent years, there has been a rise in the incidence of renal cell carcinoma (RCC), with metastatic RCC being a prevalent and significant contributor to mortality. While a regulatory role for microRNAs (miRNAs) in the development and progression of RCC has been recognized, their precise functions, molecular mechanisms, and potential clinical implications remain inadequately elucidated. Hence, this study aimed to explore the role of miR-507 in RCC and identify STEAP3 as a downstream target of miR-507.

Introduction: Increasing evidence indicates that microRNAs (miRNAs) play a crucial role in modulating tumor growth. This study is centered on investigating the contribution of miR-25 to the progression of Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC).
Methods: The investigators examined the expression levels of miR-25 and ADAMTS16 in RCC samples and cell lines.

To clarify the role of MNX1-AS1 in 5-FU resistance of Colorectal carcinoma (CRC). Relative levels of MNX1-AS1 in CRC and paracancerous tissues were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Recruited CRC patients were treated by 5-FU-based FOLFOX chemotherapy, and they were divided to effective group and non-effective group according to the therapeutic efficacy, followed by comparison of their differences in clinical indicators.

The prevalence of POPF among patients with gastric cancer varies greatly, and the risk factors and outcomes of POPF are also controversial. The meta-analysis aims to comprehensively assess the risk factors for POPF in gastric cancer patients.

Dihydroartemisinin (DHA) is a semi-synthetic derivative and the main active metabolite of artemisinin. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of DHA on the ulcerative colitis (UC) in both in vivo and in vitro models. Weight, survival rate, colon length, and Disease Activity Index score were used to evaluate the severity of colitis.

Methods Patients who underwent TKA in our department from January 2013 to July 2016 and experienced persistent pain around the knee joint after TKA were retrospectively included in the current study. Sixty patients were divided into experimental and control groups according the treatment they received.

Materials And Methods: After 12 weeks of IGFBP-3 short hairpin RNA injection treatment, intracavernous pressure responses to electrical stimulation of cavernous nerves were evaluated. The expression of IGFBP-3 and IGF-1 at mRNA and protein levels were detected by quantitative real-time PCR analysis and Western blot, respectively.
Background: The aim of this study was to determine if shRNA constructs targeting insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 can rehabilitate decreased serum testosterone concentrations in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats.
Material/methods: After 12 weeks of intracavernous administration of IGFBP-3 shRNA, intracavernous pressure responses to electrical stimulation of cavernous nerves were evaluated. The expression of IGFBP-3 at mRNA and protein levels was detected by quantitative real-time PCR analysis and Western blot, respectively.

Objective: To discuss the clinical effect of repairing soft tissue defects in cnemis, ankle and foot with calf and sural distal fasciocutaneous flaps.
Methods: From August 1998 to July 2004, 34 cases of soft tissue defects in cnemis, ankles and feet were repaired with calf and sural distal fasciocutaneous flaps. There were 27 males and 7 females, aging from 17 to 61 years and the disease course was 4 hours to 8 months.
