This study aims to provide an effective image analysis method for clover detection and botanical composition (BC) estimation in clover-grass mixture fields. Three transfer learning methods, namely, fine-tuned DeepLab V3+, SegNet, and fully convolutional network-8s (FCN-8s), were utilized to detect clover fractions (on an area basis). The detected clover fraction ( ), together with auxiliary variables, viz.

In the current study, we explored the impact of Tudor-staphylococcal nuclease (SN) on obesity induced by a high-fat diet (HFD) in mice, because the functional involvement of Tudor-SN in lipid metabolism in vivo is unknown. HFD-transgenic (Tg) mice exhibited reductions in hepatic steatosis and systemic insulin resistance. There was no difference in hepatic lipid accumulation between chow-fed wild-type (WT) and chow-fed Tg mice; consistently, no difference in activation of the lipogenic pathway was detected.

We report a high average power actively Q-switched (AQS) orthogonal polarization dual-wavelength Nd:YLF laser at 1047 and 1053 nm. The gain-to-loss balance of dual wavelengths was realized via an uncoated quartz etalon. A maximum continuous wave (CW) output power of 14.

The release of nanoparticles into the environment is inevitable, which has raised global environmental concern. Melatonin is involved in various stress responses in plants. The present study investigated the effects of melatonin on photosynthetic carbon (C) assimilation and plant growth in nano-ZnO stressed plants.

With 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% and 150%, five levels of, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) nutrition stress samples cultivated in Venlo type greenhouse soilless cultivation mode as the research object, polarized reflectance spectra and hyperspectral images of different nutrient deficiency greenhouse tomato leaves were acquired by using polarized reflectance spectroscopy system developed by our own research group and hyperspectral imaging system respectively. The relationship between a certain number of changes in the bump and texture of non-smooth surface of the nutrient stress leaf and the level of polarization reflected radiation was clarified by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). On the one hand, the polarization spectrum was converted into the degree of polarization through Stokes equation, and the four polarization characteristics between the polarization spectroscopy and reference measurement values of N, P and K respectively were extracted.
