Wild boletus mushrooms, which are macrofungi of the phylum Basidiomycetes, are a nutritious and unique natural food that is widely enjoyed. Since boletus are consumed with problems of indistinguishable toxic and non-toxic species and heavy metal enrichment, their species identification and traceability are crucial in ensuring quality and safety of consumption. In this study, the attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy technique combined with three feature variable extraction methods, manual selection method, semi-manual selection method, and algorithm method, were used to improve the accuracy and computational speed of the model identification, and the models were established for the identification of boletus species with an accuracy of up to 100% as well as for the identification of boletus origin with an accuracy of 86.

Mushrooms not only serve as a source of a wide range of nutrients in the structure of the human diet, but they have also received a great deal of attention in the field of biopharmaceuticals because of their wide range of medicinal benefits. Rapid quality certification of boletus (porcini) mushrooms is particularly important as a health food and as a potential source of medicines before purchase and production. Infrared (IR) spectroscopy is commonly used for rapid qualitative and quantitative analyses of foods and herbs.

To meet the strict requirements of reducing sulfur emissions, an increasing number of commercial ships have installed exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCSs). However, wash water produced during the cleaning process is discharged back to the marine environment. We investigated the effects of closed-loop scrubber (natrium-alkali method) wash water on three trophic species Severe toxic effects were found when , , and were exposed to 0.
