Background: Diabetes Mellitus is a long duration disease, and if a person with diabetes is infected with a blood-borne infectious disease and proper syringe disposal practices are not followed, they run the danger of transmitting the infection to others for a very long period. Whereas fewer research has been done in China on the handing of sharp objects at home. Therefore, there is a need to translate and localize the Knowledge-Attitude-Practice Questionnaire regarding sharp disposal for diabetic patients to assess the current level of patient knowledge, attitudes, and practices and to improve the basis for promoting safe sharps handling practices.

Article Synopsis
  • FeAl is an effective material for absorbing microwave energy, but its performance is limited by high density and poor impedance matching.
  • Researchers created a new absorber by combining FeAl with carbon nanotubes (CNTs) to improve performance.
  • The optimal mixture, featuring 1.5% CNTs, enhances both magnetic and dielectric loss, achieving excellent impedance matching and a wide absorption bandwidth of 4.73 GHz at a 2 mm thickness.*

Objective: Our study aims to identify the impact of histone deacetylase 3 (HDAC3) and microRNA-376c-3p (miR-376c-3p) on gastric cancer (GC) by targeting wingless-type MMTV integration site family member 2b (WNT2b).

Methods: Levels of miR-376c-3p, HDAC3 and WNT2b were assessed. GC cells were treated with altered HDAC3 or miR-376c-3p to evaluate their biological functions, and rescue experiment was performed to assess the effect of WNT2b on GC cells.
