Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of unified discharge standards on the clinical efficacy and prognosis of hemiarthroplasty in elderly patients with hip fractures.

Methods: Retrospective study of 158 elderly patients with hip fractures who underwent artificial femoral head replacement in our hospital from March 2016 to July 2019 were enrolled. According to the unified discharge standards, patients were divided into the observation (65 cases who met discharge criteria) and control group (93 cases who failed to meet all discharge criteria).

Chromosome engineering is a useful strategy for transfer of alien genes from wild relatives into modern crops. However, this strategy has not been extensively used for alien gene introgression in most crops due to low efficiency of conventional cytogenetic techniques. Here, we report an improved scheme of chromosome engineering for efficient elimination of a large amount of goatgrass (Aegilops speltoides) chromatin surrounding Sr39, a gene that provides resistance to multiple stem rust races, including Ug99 (TTKSK) in wheat.

A set of 146,611 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) were generated from 10 flax cDNA libraries.
