Clinical and computed tomography angiography characteristics of infected vs. non-infected abdominal aortic aneurysm: a comparative study.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical and multi-slice spiral computed tomography angiography (MSCTA) characteristics for the diagnosis of infected AAA.

Methods: This retrospective comparative study included patients who were diagnosed with AAA at our hospital between January 2014 and May 2023.

Results: A total of 40 patients were included, comprising 20 with infected AAA and 20 with non-infected AAA.

In order to reveal the influences of different inherent minerals on the pyrolysis behavior and kinetics of oil shale, decarburization, and desilication, samples were obtained by pickling and demineralization.
