Gastric cancer is the fourth most common cause of cancer-related deaths globally. Cancer stem cells (CSCs) play an essential role in tumor initiation, development, and chemoresistance. However, the molecular mechanisms that regulate CSC traits in gastric cancer, particularly the role of CD44v6 as a key CSC marker, remain poorly understood.

On the basis of previous research results, the formation mechanism of geothermal field in Qikexing Township was analysed and the geothermal resources were evaluated by identifying geothermal anomalies in the area. In this paper, two geothermal anomalies were identified based on remote sensing inversion, soil chemical exploration, shallow temperature measurement and the main heat-control fractures, and the distribution characteristics and causes of hot springs were comprehensively studied by means of hydrogeochemistry and isotope analysis.

However, there remains a significant gap about its effect on fish with different species, especially in highly-sediment-laden rivers. Here, through a large-scale investigation of microplastics in the Yellow River, our research highlighted effects of heavily sediments on MPs contamination in fish gut.

Recently, transition-metal rare earth metal alloy-based ferrimagnets have attracted a considerable amount of attention for the ultrafast current-driven DW motion. However, the high-speed DW motion is subject to film inhomogeneity and device edge defects, causing challenges in controlling the DW motion and hindering practical application.

To date, most studies have focused on the third instar larvae, but ignore the first instar larvae with the rough and incomplete morphological descriptions. This lack of studies has led to an unclear understanding of the morphological differences between larval stages, making it challenging to identify larvae, distinguish different osmylid species or even reconstruct phylogeny.

The three components of PDT primarily include photosensitizers, oxygen, and light. PDT employs specific wavelengths of light to active photosensitizers at the tumor site, generating reactive oxygen species that are fatal to tumor cells.

Here we report a new type of antiferromagnetic memory based on the spin phase change in a Mn-Ir binary intermetallic thin film at a composition within the phase boundary between its collinear and noncollinear phases. Via a small piezoelectric strain, the spin structure of this composition-boundary metal is reversibly interconverted, leading to a large nonvolatile room-temperature resistance modulation that is two orders of magnitude greater than the anisotropic magnetoresistance effect for a metal, mimicking the well-established phase change memory from a quantum spin degree of freedom.

NaV(PO) is considered as one of the most promising cathodes for sodium ion batteries owing to its fast Na diffusion, good structural stability and high working potential. However, its practical application is limited by its low intrinsic electronic conductivity. Herein, a carbon coated Cu-doped NaV(PO) cathode was prepared.

Nevertheless, the perception of well-established ferromagnetic spintronics underpinned by spontaneous magnetization seemed to indicate the inadequacy of antiferromagnets for spintronics-their compensated magnetization has been perceived to result in uncontrollable antiferromagnetic order and subtle magnetoelectronic responses. However, remarkable advancements have been achieved in antiferromagnetic spintronics in recent years, with consecutive unanticipated discoveries substantiating the feasibility of antiferromagnet-centered spintronic devices.

Nevertheless, this immediately arouses an intriguing question of whether the extraordinary room-temperature colossal magnetoresistance in the initial reports, which has been less focused, originates from CuS as well. To resolve this issue, we have systematically investigated the electrical transport and magnetotransport properties of near-stoichiometric CuS pellets and thin films.

Current decentralized domestic sewage treatment facilities (DDSTF) involve different treatment processes and power drive modes; at the same time, the treatment effect is also affected by a variety of local factors. However, there is a lack of research to explore the implementation performance of the DDSTF from a comprehensive perspective.

Membrane trafficking between distinct compartments is mainly achieved by vesicular transport. As the endomembrane compartments and the machineries regulating the membrane trafficking are largely conserved across all eukaryotes, our current knowledge on organelle biogenesis and endomembrane trafficking in plants has mainly been shaped by corresponding studies in mammals and yeast.

We propose a new descriptive terminology to concisely characterize the major elements of gland head ultrastructure and then identify similarities and differences among them and provide detailed descriptions of the wax gland heads found in each of the nine genera examined. Based on the range of taxa examined, we propose hypotheses about the functional morphology of some of the ultrastructural elements examined and relate them to wax ring formation in dustywings.

The development of drug resistance increases the risk of viral rebound, opportunistic infections, and ultimately treatment failure such that the early detection of resistance is ideal. This study was developed to explore primary drug resistance characteristics and genotypic distributions in newly diagnosed antiretroviral therapy (ART)-naïve HIV-1 patients in Nanjing with the goal of establishing a basis for their individualized treatment in the clinic.
