This study focuses on using activated fly ash to preparate silica aerogel by the acid solution-alkali leaching method and ambient pressure drying. Additionally, to improve the performance of silica aerogel, CHOSi (KH-570) and CHSi(CHO) (MTMS) modifiers were used. Finally, this paper investigated the factors affecting the desilication rate of fly ash and analyzed the structure and performance of silica aerogel.

Monopoles play a center role in gauge theories and topological matter. There are two fundamental types of monopoles in physics: vector monopoles and tensor monopoles. Examples of vector monopoles include the Dirac monopole in three dimensions and Yang monopole in five dimensions, which have been extensively studied and observed in condensed matter or artificial systems.

Article Synopsis
  • A Berry curvature is a key concept in quantum physics, well-studied, while the quantum metric, another important part of the quantum geometric tensor, has not been as thoroughly explored.
  • The study introduces two experimental methods using superconducting circuits to measure the quantum metric tensor, focusing on transition probabilities and excitation rates to understand the geometry of quantum states.
  • The research also delves into a topological phase transition in a system that is time-reversal-symmetric, highlighting a new way to investigate the topology of quantum states through the quantum geometric tensor.
