Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a chronic cerebrovascular disease that can lead to ischemia and hemorrhagic stroke. The relationship between oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) and MMD pathogenesis remains unknown. The gene expression data of 60 participants were acquired from three Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) datasets, including 36 and 24 in the MMD and control groups.

Methods: In the present study, Illumina Mi-Seq sequencing were to assess bacteria's co-occurrence patterns in the water and sediment of different time dynamics and plant communities of the Yellow River floodplain ecosystem.
Subspace methods are widely used in FMCW-MIMO radars for target parameter estimations. However, the performances of the existing algorithms degrade rapidly in non-ideal situations. For example, a small number of snapshots may result in the distortion of the covariance matrix estimation and a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) can lead to subspace leakage problems, which affects the parameter estimation accuracy.

Published papers (1978-2020) on tree growth of Chinese fir forests in China were collected and critically reviewed. After that, a comprehensive growth data set was developed from 482 sites, which are distributed between 102.

This process could represent a new green approach to the liquefaction treatment of saturated sand and has good prospects for application. However, owing to the diversity of microbial activities and the heterogenous spatiotemporal distribution of bacterial nutrient seepage in sandy soil foundations, the resultant complex distribution of calcium carbonate deposition in a sandy soil foundation can lead to differences in solidification strength and improvement effect.

It is of great significance for the restoration of Kaifeng City Wall to explore the repair materials and techniques suitable for Kaifeng City Wall. The pH, particle gradation, compressive strength and SEM were tested on soil samples with different lime and MgO contents under different slaking times.

In this paper, the adobe for the construction of raw soil and cultural relics in western Henan is taken as the research object. The local plain soil is used as the raw material, and the adobe samples are prepared with modified materials such as quicklime and sodium methyl silicate, in order to improve its mechanical properties and water stability.

A total of 713 research papers about field monitor experiments of heavy metals in farmland and urban soils in China, published from 2000 to 2019, were obtained. A meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the level of China's heavy metal pollution in soils, mainly focusing on eight heavy metals. It was found that the average concentrations of cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), mercury (Hg), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and arsenic (As) in China were 0.

Since preventive measures may be inadequate, we assessed whether the blood flow difference between the superficial temporal artery (STA) and recipient vessels (△BF) and the direct perfusion range (DPR) are related to CHS.
Methods: We measured blood flow in the STA and recipient blood vessels before bypass surgery by transit-time probe to calculate △BF.
BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to examine the role of magnetic resonance imaging-diffusion weighted imaging (MRI-DWI) in the early detection of chemotherapy resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. MATERIAL AND METHODS MRI-DWI and computed tomography (CT) were carried out in 75 patients with newly diagnostic NSCLC before and after first, second, fourth, and sixth cycles of chemotherapy. Resistance to chemotherapy was assessed based on the change in the largest tumor diameter after chemotherapy.

The polymorphisms of soil fungal rDNA Internal Transcribed Spacer regions were studied in Korean pine forests of various ages (10-100-year-old trees) by means of cloned libraries, and analyzed to determine the effects of the trees' developmental stage on soil fungal community structure. The obtained Shannon diversity index (H) and richness (S) indicated that the diversity of the soil fungal community increased significantly with the development of Korean pines (P < 0.05).

Such strong coupling is desirable in quantum information processing, quantum storage and communication. In particular, paired photons with a long coherence time over submicroseconds facilitate the direct manipulation of biphoton wavefunction.
