A special technique has been developed for producing a composite aerogel which consists of graphene oxide and soy wax (GO/wax). The reduction of graphene oxide was carried out by the stepwise heating of this aerogel to 250 °C. Based on the results of our own preliminary studies, the derivative of the marine alkaloid fascaplysin containing a phenyl substituent at C-9 was selected to evaluate the therapeutic potential in vivo and in vitro. It was shown that this compound has outstandingly high antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, including antibiotic-resistant strains in vitro. The presence of a substituent at C-9 of the framework is of fundamental importance, since its replacement to neighboring positions leads to a sharp decrease in the selectivity of the antibacterial action, which indicates the presence of a specific therapeutic target in bacterial cells.

The cationic complexes of Mn(III) with the 5-Hal-sal323 (Hal = Cl, Br) ligands and a paramagnetic doubly charged counterion [ReCl] have been synthesized: [Mn(5-Cl-sal323)][ReCl] () and [Mn(5-Br-sal323)][ReCl] (). Their crystal structures and magnetic properties have been studied. A simple approach toward the synthesis of the marine sponge derived pigment fascaplysin was used to obtain the marine alkaloids 3-bromofascaplysin and 3,10-dibromofascaplysin. These compounds were used for first syntheses of the alkaloids 14-bromoreticulatate and 14-bromoreticulatine. Preliminary bioassays showed that 14-bromoreticulatine has a selective antibiotic (to ) activity and reveals cytotoxicity toward human melanoma, colon, and prostate cancer cells.

Antitumor efficiency of fascaplysin synthetic derivatives (7-phenylfascaplysin, 3-chlorofascaplysin, 3-bromofascaplysin, and 10-bromofascaplysin) was compared out in vitro on C6 glioma cells. The cytotoxic efficiency of all tested compounds was higher than that of unsubstituted fascaplysin; 3-bromofascaplysin and 7-phenylfascaplysin exhibited the best capacity to kill glioma C6 cells. Apoptosis was the main mechanism of glioma cell death.

The new 6,6-spiroketal,sargassopenilline H (1), and known peneciraistin C (2) have been isolated from an EtOAc extract of the marine-derived fungus Penicillium lividumKMM 4663. The structure of the new metabolite was determined by HR ESIMS and 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy. Sargassopenilline H (1) in non-cytotoxic concentration inhibited colony formation of RPMI-7951 and MDA-MB-231 cell lines.

Among the socio-economic indices there are analyzed: the health expenditure; per capita income; living wage; the cost of the minimum food basket; the percentage ofpersons with income below the subsistence minimum; the amount of living space per person; the percentage of apartments that do not have running water; the percentage of apartments that do not have sewage systems; the proportion of living space, equipped with central heating; housing area per overall per capita at the end of the year.
