Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors are a promising therapeutic strategy for breast cancer (BRCA) patients. The tumor microenvironment (TME) can downregulate the immune response to cancer therapy. Our study is aimed at finding a TME-related biomarker to identify patients who might respond to immunotherapy.

The coil and chamber condenser is used to build different dry impinger methods for CPM sampling. The comparative analysis of coil and chamber condenser is performed in a laboratory experiment to evaluate the deviation caused by SO.

Standardized Ginkgo biloba extract EGb761 is known to have multivalent properties such as anti-oxidation and anti-apoptosis. In this study, we determined in rat pheochromocytoma (PC12) cells effects of EGb761 treatment on oxidative damage under three different conditions of serum supply: normal growth medium (NGM), serum deprivation (SE) and serum deprivation followed by re-supply (SERS). It was found that, under the condition of serum deprivation, oxidative damage induced less cell death than the condition of serum supply.

Some studies have indicated that low level of anti-Abeta antibodies may play an important role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease (AD), but little is known about the avidity of these antibodies. We investigated the avidity and levels of anti-Abeta antibodies in 20 AD patients and 40 healthy controls by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay with thiocyanate elution. Our data revealed that both the levels and the avidity of anti-Abeta antibodies were statistically lower in AD patients than in healthy controls.
