Background: Nonossifying fibroma is common in children and adolescents, and nonossifying fibroma with genu valgum is rare in the clinic. This article evaluated the effectiveness of treatment in a case of nonossifying fibroma of the lower femur with genu valgum.

Case Presentation: A 16-year-old girl complained of pain in the lower part of her right thigh for one year.

The relevant anatomic MRI data from 30 normal adult shoulder joints were measured to analyze the feasibility of the modified type V resection method for malignant bone tumors of the proximal humerus. Sixteen patients with malignant bone tumors of the proximal humerus were treated with modified radical resection between March 2012 and April 2017.

Oxidized low-density lipoprotein activates adipophilin through ERK1/2 signal pathway in RAW264.7 cells.

It has been reported that oxidized low-density lipoprotein (Ox-LDL) can increase the expression of adipophilin. However, the detailed mechanisms are not fully understood. The aim of this study was to investigate the mechanism of Ox-LDL on adipophilin expression and the intracellular lipid droplet accumulation.

Objective: To construct prokaryotic fusion gene expression vector pET-30a/ltB-porB, express the recombinant fusion protein LTB-PorB and analyze the immunocompetence of the recombinant fusion protein in female BALB/c mice through intranasally immunization.

Methods: B subunit of Escherichia coli heat-labile enterotoxin (LTB) and Neisseria gonorrhoeae Porin B (PorB) fusion gene, LTB gene and PorB gene were cloned into prokaryotic vector pET-30a. The recombinants were identified by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), enzyme digestion and DNA sequencing, and then expressed efficiently in Escherichia coli BL21 in the form of inclusion bodies.
