Glucosyloxybenzyl 2-isobutylmalates and phenolic glycosides from the flowers of Bletilla striata.

Four previously undescribed compounds, including three glucosyloxybenzyl 2-isobutylmalates (1-3), one phenolic glycoside (4), along with ten known compounds were isolated from the flowers of Bletilla striata. The structures and absolute configurations of the undescribed compounds were elucidated on the basis of HR-ESIMS, NMR spectroscopy, optical rotation value, and acid hydrolysis experiment. Cytotoxicity of the isolated compounds against A549, HCT-116, and SW1990 cells and protective effects of t-BHP-induced L02 cytotoxic were assayed.

Conversion to resectability using transcatheter arterial chemoembolization alternating with mFOLFOX6 in patients with colorectal liver metastases.

Background: Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignancies in the world, and about 25% of colorectal cancer patients present with colorectal cancer liver metastases (CRCLM) even at new diagnosis. The study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) alternating with mFOLFOX6 in Chinese patients with unresectable CRCLM.

Materials And Methods: In this study, by combining the systemic and regional treatment, the resectability rate, overall survival, and progression-free survival were measured with addition of TACE.

[Feature analysis of IDH1 mutation in oligodendroglial tumors].

Objective: To analyze the features of isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH 1) mutation in 165 oligodendroglial tumors.

Methods: IDH1 was detected in a series of 165 oligodendroglial paraffin specimens from 2009 to 2011. And their features were analyzed.
