Porous nanosheet-nanosphere@nanosheet FeNi-LDH@FeNiS core-shell heterostructures for asymmetric supercapacitors.

Transition bimetallic sulphides have emerged as important electrode materials for supercapacitors owing to their low toxicity, environmental friendliness, cost-effectiveness, multiple oxidation states, high natural abundance, flexible structure, and high theoretical specific capacitance. Herein, a porous nanosheet-nanosphere@nanosheet FeNi-LDH@FeNiS (FNLDH@FNS) core-shell heterostructure was directly prepared on nickel foam (NF) a two-step hydrothermal method. The prepared electrode material exhibits an outstanding electrochemical performance.

The antidepressant effect of secoisolariciresinol, a lignan-type phytoestrogen constituent of flaxseed, on ovariectomized mice.

Secoisolariciresinol (SECO) is a natural lignan-type phytoestrogen constituent mainly found in flaxseed. It can be metabolized in vivo to mammalian lignans of enterodiol and enterolactone, which have been proven to be effective in relieving menopausal syndrome. Depression is one of the most common symptoms of menopausal syndrome, and is currently treated with estrogen replacement and antidepressant therapy.

[Cloning, prokaryotic expression of novel swine gene P58IPK and its polyclonal antibody preparation].

Aim: To clone a novel swine gene P58(IPK)[58-kDa(inhibitor of protein kinase) protein] and prepare its polyclonal antibody for further research of influenza and host interaction.

Methods: The swine P58(IPK); gene was first identified in silico through homology searching in the swine EST database. Then this gene was amplified by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
