Methods: Nine databases were systematically and extensively searched to collect randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about Chinese herbs in the treatment of sub-health. The outcomes included overall effective rate, main symptoms, quality of life, etc.

Background: Combination treatment has been a popular therapeutic strategy in diabetes and related vascular complications. Nowadays, pharmacokinetics (PK) is becoming a useful approach to reveal the mechanisms of drug-drug interactions (DDIs) and reasonable drug compatibility in combination treatment.

Study of the physicochemical properties of trimethoprim with beta-cyclodextrin in solution.

The behavior of trimethoprim (TMP) in aqueous solutions containing different concentration of beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) was characterized by the solubility method, UV spectrophotometry and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The UV spectra enhancement of TMP as result of complex with beta-CD was investigated. Complexation with beta-CD increase the TMP aqueous solubility and the phase solubility diagram was A(L) type.
