Circular RNAs (circRNAs), a novel class of widespread and diverse endogenous RNAs, have been identified as critical regulators of various cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the specific roles of circRNAs in HCC are largely unknown. In this study, we identified a novel circRNA, circ-IGF1R, in HCC tumour tissues and cell lines.

With the growing incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus, the number of hospitals performing bariatric surgery and surgical cases increase substantially. The problems in operation standardization, quality control of operation and postoperative management of the patients cause the failure in weight loss, hypoglycemia and severe complications, and revisional surgery is often required to correct the condition.
