The strong fragrant rapeseed oils (SFROs) attract an increasing consumers' preference due to their strong flavor and attractive appearance. With the accumulated knowledge of flavor formation pathways during producing SFROs, the present study proposed a novel method to enhance SFRO's flavor by directly adding the reducing sugars (glucose and xylose) and commercial peptides during roasting process. Results indicated that supplementation of 3 % rapeseed peptide, 1 % glucose and 0.

Low-dimensional organic-inorganic hybrid lead halide perovskites have attracted much interest in solid-state lighting and displays, but the toxicity and instability of lead halide are obstacles to their industrial applications, which must be overcome. As an alternative, Cu(I)-based hybrid metal halides have emerged as a new type of luminescent material owing to their diversified structure, adjustable luminescence, low toxicity and low cost. Herein, we report three one-dimensional (1D) hybrid Cu(I)-based halides with the general formula ACuBr (A = [(Me)-Pipz] and [BuDA] and [TMEDA]).

In this study, in order to further search anti-inflammatory drugs with high efficiency and low toxicity, this study took the ring of indoles and imidazole [2,1-b] thiazole as the main skeleton. A total of nine new N-1-substituted derivatives of indole-2-carboxyamide-phenylimidazoles [2,1-b] thiazole (13-20) was synthesized through the processes of cyclization, amino reduction, ester hydrolysis, dehydration condensation and acyl chloride substitution. These derivatives were then tested for their ability to reduce inflammation in RAW 264.

Objective: To investigate whether the combination of chemotherapy with staged Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) therapy could enhance health-related quality of life (QoL) in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients and prolong the time before deterioration of lung cancer symptoms, in comparison to chemotherapy alone.

Methods: A prospective, double-blind, randomized, controlled trial was conducted from December 14, 2017 to August 28, 2020. A total of 180 patients with stage I B-IIIA NSCLC from 5 hospitals in Shanghai were randomly divided into chemotherapy combined with CHM (chemo+CHM) group (120 cases) or chemotherapy combined with placebo (chemo+placebo) group (60 cases) using stratified blocking randomization.

Commercially available rare-earth-doped inorganic oxide materials have been widely applied as X-ray scintillators, but the fragile characteristics, high detection limit, and harsh preparation condition seriously restrict their wide applications. Furthermore, it remains a huge challenge to realize X-ray flexible imaging technology for real-time monitoring of the curving interface of complex devices. To address these issues, we herein report two isostructural cuprous halides of zero-dimensional (0D) [AEPipz]CuX·X·HO (AEPipz = -aminoethylpiperazine, X = Br and I) with controllable size to nanosize crystal as highly efficient scintillators toward flexible X-ray imaging.

This study investigates utilizing spherical polystyrene (PS) beads as artificial flaws to improve ultrahigh-performance concrete (UHPC) tensile performance using a uniaxial tensile test and explains the corresponding mechanisms by analyzing the internal material structure of UHPC specimens with X-ray CT scanning. With a hooked steel fiber volume fraction of 2%, three PS bead dosages were employed to study tensile behavior changes in dog-bone UHPC specimens. A 33.

Molecular hybridization is a widely employed technique in medicinal chemistry for drug modification, aiming to enhance pharmacological activity and minimize side effects. The combination of an indole ring and imidazole[2,1-]thiazole has shown promising potential as a group that exhibits potent anti-inflammatory effects. In this study, we designed and synthesized a series of derivatives comprising indole-2-formamide benzimidazole[2,1-]thiazole to evaluate their impact on LPS-induced production of pro-inflammatory cytokines NO, IL-6, and TNF-α release, as well as iron death in RAW264.

Considering the instability and toxicity of 3D Pb-based perovskite nanocrystals, lead-free low-dimensional organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides have attracted widespread attention as potential substitutes. Herein, two new tin-based 0D halides [HBAPP]SnBr·Br and [HBAPP]SnCl·Cl·HO (BAPP = 1,4-bis(3-aminopropyl)piperazine) were synthesized successfully based on [SnX] as an emission center. Typically, [HBAPP]SnBr·Br and [HBAPP]SnCl·Cl·HO display broadband yellow and yellow-green light emissions originating from the radiative recombination of self-trapped excitons (STEs).

The strong-fragrant rapeseed oil (SFRO) is a popular rapeseed oil in China with a low refining degree only degumming with hot water, which remarkably affects its storage stability. The present study compared the overall changes of physical/chemical/nutrient quality of FROs at various temperatures, light wavelengths and headspace volumes. Results showed that red light (680 nm) had a most significant adverse effect on the overall quality of SFRO with the higher correlation coefficients to PV and TOTOX of 0.

The enantioselective organocatalytic conjugate alkenylation of β-substituted alkenyl benzimidazoles afforded β-stereogenic 2-alkyl benzimidazole derivatives in excellent enantioselectivities. Chiral binaphthols were effective catalysts for promoting the nucleophilic addition of bench-stable alkenyl trifluoroborate salts under mild conditions, expanding their applications by utilizing C=N-containing azaarenes as activating groups. The synthetic utility of this strategy is demonstrated by conversions into several useful enantiomerically enriched benzimidazole building blocks.
