Purpose: A growing body of evidence has elucidated that the gut microbiota has a crucial impact on the pathophysiological process of atopic diseases. Eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (eCRSwNP) is a local atopic disease of the systemic immune response. Alterations in the gut microbiome in eCRSwNP patients remain largely undefined.
